I used Geoffrey Matthew to sell my house in Harlow, they handled everything from viewings to negotiation. My house sold very quickly, we hit a few obstacles during the searches, but Geoffrey Matthews were able to offer practical advice to help smooth these over. I am very impressed with their services and would highly recommend them.

I told the office last week that the soaking should be fixed because the ceiling in the kitchen is humped and its pieces are falling off. Then there is mold in the rooms in the bathroom, I asked that we fix it with a paint too, and yesterday I got a letter that I had to move out of the property. they put him in a rather difficult position with two tiny children.

I condemn such people for renting 1225 and asked them for some repairs which is approx. It costs 100. special thanks to the staff of the real estate office Amanda. Thank you Amanda you were right.

I'm quite shocked that Geoffrey Matthews managed the letting of this property before they put it up for sale on their website. A bowed ceiling between the loft and landing stairs where there had been a previous leak in the loft, a back boiler which had been obsolete since the year 2000 which are deemed unsafe, and also polystyrene tiles in the bedroom which are a fire hazard.

The couple renting the property had a small child before the owner decided to sell. GM rented out the property and also sold it on behalf of the seller. There were many health and safety risks and these should've been addressed and I didn't realise the severity until I'd purchased the property myself.

Very professional estate agents. Have used many times over the years and they seem to be at the top of their game. That's Lettings and sales. You can see a mortgage guy there as well and he is sharp. Have experienced poor estate agents in the Harlow area so would advise these guys.

For 15 years Geoffrey Matthew managed a rental property for me that was my main home. For a large majority of that Amanda Aukett was the management agent. Her professionalism was excellent. She kept on top of getting repairs and statutory checks done. I always found her approachable and friendly. My tenant offered to buy the property and it was the right time for me to sell. Bradley managed the initial stages of the negotiations very well.

The branch manager, Suzanne Smyth then dealt with the final stages. I was always promptly updated by phone or email until the sale completed. I highly recommend them to either manage your rental property or your house sale.

Paid the highest rate of commission for all the additional services when renting my property with Geoffrey Matthew but rent was never paid by the tenants, property was never checked and they even got the meter readings wrong! The tenants were so bad that all the neighbours complained of their anti-social behaviour and they completely trashed the house and even broke the garage door, leaving me with repair bills far in excess of the security deposit.

What kind of credit checks and assurances were carried out for the extortionate fees that I was charged? In short, if you want your rental property mismanaged, use Geoffrey Matthew's!
