Goadsby had my house to manage for two years. They found tenants quickly and managed the processes and contracts efficiently and well. Despite being good tenants for two years, they unfortunately left my house in an unsatisfactory state. Goadsby (Janine O'Hara) managed my claim with the deposit company on my behalf and won compensation for my loss. Highly recommended

I have very good experience interacting with complete Goadsby team. Adam was very prompt with response to any queries. Helped with getting referencing done quickly. Gary from property management team promptly helped with initial teething issues. Any concerns raised were quickly resolved and have not had any issues in past 3 months I am staying in property. Will definitely recommend Goadsby for renting.

Charlotte (Charlie) was our estate agent and after much disappointment viewing and applying for other properties it was such a breath of fresh air to find our apartment with her. She guided us through the whole process (this was our first ever renting experience) and answered all our questions quickly no matter how simple they were. She advocated for us when our references were taking a while and chased up on paperwork, making the whole experience smooth and less stressful for us. We felt so well cared for with Charlie and Goadsby's and would recommend them!

Isabelle at Goadsby proved to be the consummate professional and was an outstanding ambassador for the company. I have rented my home out through Goadsby and from the very beginning Isabelle and her colleagues were so helpful, courteous, professional and friendly. She was always there to answer any questions and got back to my emails very promptly. Due to her excellent skills I would have no doubt in recommending Goadsby to anyone renting out their homes or indeed selling them.

Adam Carter and Isabelle Klein were really helpful in helping us set up a rental until we can find the right house here in Bournemouth. Adam was very efficient and responsive in responding to our numerous questions and liasing with the landlord during the transition. We had heard of Goadsby's good reputation before moving and were very pleased with the service we received.

Isabelle was extremely helpful from start to finish for my move in Southbourne. From the first phone call to collecting the keys she was efficient and friendly, kept me updated before I ever had to ask and always happy to help. I would recommend using Goadsby if you are looking for a rental flat in the South.

We have used this company to find a tenant for our flat in Bournemouth and are delighted to be able to give it a well deserved 5 stars. Throughout the staff have been helpful and efficient. Our main contact was Isabelle Klein who found us a tenant within days and kept us closely informed of the progress of the let. All the staff both junior and senior to her were also very efficient and polite. We would highly recommend this company.

We recently moved into our rented property with the help of Charlie (Charlotte) at Goadsby. Charlie made our move stress free, fast and overall just a nice experience, important for me as my first time renting. She was quick to answer questions and kept us up to date at all times and was super clear with what she needed from us. Charlie's Service is incredible and a overall lovely energy and kind girl. I would 100% recommend.

Isabelle has been helping me find the perfect first flat to move into in Bournemouth. She has been very accommodating, professional and easy to work with. She got a clear understanding of what property I was looking for and worked hard to find properties that I would be interested in. Great communication between her, myself and my parents. A very caring nurture and easy to talk to, she made me feel very comfortable! Isabelle took extra care into checking my mother was also comfortable with the properties we were looking at when it came to price, location etc.
The process so far has been very smooth and hassle free. She is very understanding of my particular circumstances when it comes to getting a property which I appreciate massively. She has put great effort into staying in contact and updated, sorting out the application with the landlord and also finding me a flat that I'm so excited to move into!

Goadsby Southampton handled the recent successful sale of my flat. After meeting a few local estate agents, I chose Goadsby because I was impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the person I met from their office. The sale was a bumpy road, as it can be. All the staff at Goadsby were efficient and supportive along that stressful road and the sale went through. Thanks Goadsby!

Quite simply the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Having already shown us around one property, offered it to us, only to then contact us the next day to say that we were never eligible to live there (it was only available to families, not sharers, which information Goadsby had from the offset), they then proceeded with a lengthy course of bullying, harassment and unfulfilled promises.
We were shown around another property a few days later, which we were happy to accept pending the usual relevant information (rent, deposit, moving in date etc). Goadsby gave us false information about both the rent and the deposit due (which we didn't find out until later). A couple of days later we were presented with an array of documents asking for: A fee of 114 per person for them to check our references, non-refundable (in their own words) if FOR ANY REASON the deal should fall through.
Such reasons presumably including Goadsby not fulfilling their end of the agreement, or maybe just fancying showing 20 different groups of people around one property and then keeping 19 sets of deposits. Who knows? Reference request forms were then posted to the references we had provided (taking three days to arrive), containing a pre-paid envelope for returning said references, and instructions explicitly stating that only written references returned in the post would be accepted.
Every single one of our referees wrote a reference and sent it back the day they received it, and every single one of them received a telephone call the next day berating them for not having yet returned the references, and when they politely explained the situation they were told that they should have emailed to save time, in spite of the aforementioned instructions and the fact that no email address was provided.
We were also asked to sign a waiver allowing them full access to our bank accounts (with us incurring any costs the bank might charge for this service), which we reluctantly did. A couple of days after this, we were contacted by Goadsby asking why we hadn't provided them with 6 months' back copies of each of our bank statements (which was never asked for in any of the documents). Again, feeling very uneasy about this, we complied, as by this time we'd already invested several hundred non-refundable pounds.
The day after I'd sent my statements, I got another email asking me where they were. Having rushed to get all this information and money to Goadsby, apologised to our friends and work colleagues for the way they'd been treated, and been coerced into making decisions against our better judgement, there then followed several days of total silence from their end.
Silence which continued, in fact, until the day before the prospective moving-in date (and, more pertinently, the date on which we had to leave our current house). At about 9.30 that morning we received an email saying that the deal had gone through, and that we had until 5 p.m. to send a month's rent, the deposit (neither of which were the originally agreed sums), a transaction fee and - with no trace of irony - a holding fee to prevent them from offering the house to anyone else.
Three of us were able to transfer the money promptly, but one has no access to his online bank from work and was subjected to a series of increasingly nasty and threatening communications throughout the day. We managed to get the money across, and were invited into their office to sign the tenancy agreement on the morning of the move. Which tenancy agreement lists one of the residents, for no discernible reason, as a 'permitted occupant' rather than a 'tenant', which is still making it very difficult to convince various authorities of his legitimacy at the address. Oh, and the two obligations which Goadsby had to fulfil, based on their own contract? One: To show us a copy of the gas and electricity safety statements before we moved in (nope) and two: to provide us with a mock tenancy agreement to look over in advance of seeing the real one, which, when I asked them about it, they just laughed.
