Services
Here at Kernow properties we strive to offer a personal bespoke marketing package to all our clients. We listen to our vendors needs, and use pro-active techniques to assist in achieving their goals. With a well-staffed office and a good amount of combined experience between us, we are able to achieve the best possible price, from the best possible buyer.
Exciting opportunity to own a 10 acre Cornish smallholding and glamping business with a 4-5 bedroom fully renovated and extended farm house with double garage, two rentable cottages (both with double garages) enormous workshop, huge barn, six high quality glamping pods and acres of fields and garden.
Kernows are privately owned, independent firm, working together with our sister office, Lewis Property Consultants. We have highly specialised staff who offer an efficient personal service and who have a great deal of experience of the local market. We manage the sale of your property completely, from start to finish, including high quality details, floorplans, escorted viewings and constant feedback on the progress of viewings. We believe in providing the highest possible level of service and stay in regular touch with our vendors throughout the process.
Buying a property is a big step involving a substantial long-term financial commitment, so think hard about what you can afford. You will need to consider the assets you have - like savings - as well as the money that's coming in and going out. Although it may reduce your buying options, you don't want to commit to a mortgage and then realise you can't afford some of the nicer things in life! It may sound obvious but take time to think of all the things you spend money on throughout the year, even without a mortgage.

What can I say, Paul and Mandy are fantastic, very friendly and helpful, there also human unlike some estate agents I've had the pleasure in speaking to. They helped us recently with our move into a rental home and are happy to go above and beyond to help out and offer advice. It's been a pleasure to deal with them both, thankyou guys.

It's not easy trying to view properties when you live 250 miles away but Paul and the team at Kernow were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We were kept informed every step of the way with regular contact from Paul who also assisted us with recommendations for local surveyors and such like. It makes a big difference to have a local independent agent who is so helpful and made the whole process of buying a property alot less stressful than it could have been. I would recommend Kernow Properties to anyone looking to buy a property in Cornwall.

Great people, very friendly and professional. They gave me a fair and competitive evaluation for my mothers property(Power of Attorney sale). They are completely up front about prices and any issues you face during the sale. Any bids, viewings and offers made, were communicated to me the same day. The Kernow team, helped me get a deal, that is closer to the said value of the property, where I almost accepted a lower price.
During the sale: The team at Kernow were fantastic, they buyers solicitor would not talk to anyone, not even the buyer. I can say for certain that without the team at Kernow constantly fighting to make contact, the sale would have taken months. A big thank you, with out your help I don't know how long it would have taken.

Kernow Properties, Camelford After such a positive experience from Kernow Properties we feel compelled to share these views of the excellent service delivered by Paul and David of Kernow Properties. Firstly, it seems rather alien to be writing a positive review of a traditional estate agent, dear we say not a body of professionals that would normally illicit such a glowing reference.
Take it as a testament to their professionalism that we have done so. Kernow Properties were acting on behalf of the vendor to a property in Camelford which my wife and I after a viewing had placed an offer on. Their level of knowledge about this cottage was impressive and after this viewing we felt that no further questions remained unanswered, we therefore made the decision to proceed.
During the following weeks several potential issues were raised by solicitors, building society and surveyors that required investigation/explanation (all pretty standard fare on any older property) but Paul and David were there to assist with all these questions and kept the sale process on track. We did not need to prompt them in any way, they just ploughed on through, providing us with the answers/opinions based on knowledge of local building practices and on a major issue of the possible presence of Mundic block in parts of the building were quick to offer the organising of these tests, liaising with the vendor to agree a shared cost basis investigation. Last, but by no means least, evidence emerged from Cornwall Council that a compulsory purchase order may be subject to the land within the properties boundary. Again, Kernow properties worked tirelessly to help (as far as they could) to resolve this issue keeping vendor and purchaser equally well informed of the changing evidence issued by Cornwall County Council. Thankfully all these concerns were successfully concluded by Cornwall County Council in issuing an updated plan showing no CPO requirement.
These deliberations came about over the Christmas period when most of the parties concerned were on holiday. It was notable that Kernow properties took less time away from the office than the rest so were available for continued support. This was very welcomed by us as it was a very stressful time. So, to Paul and David many, many thanks for all your diligence and good humour through these testing times. It has been our privilege to get to know you and we remain grateful for your sensitivity to the needs of others during our negotiations. Very best wishes Sue & Allan

Can't recommend this agent enough. When I was living in Cornwall I used Kernow Properties and Paul as my main agent very professional and he also helped me after going through some personal problems where a lot of landlords/agents would have washed their hands of it all. Brilliant guy brilliant company.

Am Currently renting a property through this agency. They are the most helpful agents I have ever rented with! Nothing is too much trouble, they are quick to respond to any issue with the property, and are willing to come to visit to check on the situations outside of office hours. The new management of the business has made it a much better company to deal with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family :
