We have had dealings with many estate agents over the years and I can say without hesitation. Joe and the team kept in constant touch right through the process and I would recommend Martin. Thank you for your courtesy and professionalism, it has been a genuine pleasure to work with. Joe and the team are knowledgeable and experienced and offer sound advice in what was a tough.
We are very experienced in selling all types of Residential property in Reading, Wokingham and surrounding areas. We offer a balanced blend of modern marketing techniques combined with a genuine professional service provided by mature and long standing members of staff. Your instructions are handled by a senior member of staff from the point of appraisal and instruction through the marketing, negotiation and sales progression to a successful completion, which is a method of estate agency rarely experienced these days.

I bought a large rug at auction yesterday and my cousin went to pick it up for me today. I had emailed to ask if somebody could help her carry it to the car as she has arthritis. I got no reply and when she turned up the rug was still on the auction floor with heavy pieces of furniture displayed on it. She couldn't move them by herself to get the rug and none of the staff were strong enough to do it either.
I really don't think it's too much to expect the rug to be folded and ready to take away without the purchaser having to move heavy items to retrieve it. I won't be buying from this auction house again which is a pity as they have good stuff!

I purchased a clock recently which appeared to have a fairly detailed description. However when I collected the clock the horse on the top of the clock was misdeeds by a leg and there was no pendulum. None of this was in the description and the only picture was from the opposite side of the clock so you could not see the missing leg. When I challenged the auctioneer, his only defence was that they "have to turn lots around quickly and do not have time to show or describe everything " they certainly had time to describe goods points!
I wonder why that is? Perhaps it's to dupe people into buying things that appear to be fit for purpose? Any decent business would apologise for the lack of information on something that is quite fundamental. Call me cynical, but clearly had they described the damage or just listed it "as found" they would not have been able to sell the clock for the same level. A lesson learned for me. But I warn anyone buys no from the auctioneer not to rely on their description s as clearly they are misleading. You have been warned.
