Established in 1996 Chapplins were a two office firm of Independent Estate Agents with offices in Bordon and Havant headed up by Martin Hodgson, William Newell and Kerry Applin. In 2000 a third office was added in Cowplain to further strengthen their position. The year after, Network Homes (formed in 1991) and based in Waterlooville and Cosham with partners Andy Stroud and Jack Jamieson created an association with Chapplins to offer a professional letting and management service to compliment the already successful sales operation.

If there is less than one star I would give it to Network Homes. I received a letter in March saying that the service charge will increase from 649 to 741 which means 92. I sent to the customer service a complaint letter about the exaggerated increase, I also asked for proof of expense statement about the reason for this increase (reference number 828980).
The case is still open since April! leasehold team sent a letter saying they would respond within 21 days, but I have not received any response until now, which shows that Network Homes does not deserve a penny cause the team is not professional. It also shows that NH has no credibility due to its refusal to send proof. I warned all my friends to buy a flat in NH.
I also sent an email to Ealing Council regarding the issue and waiting for their response. I am writing to reduce the new service charge and put a reasonable increase. Wondering what is going to happen in a few years, the service charge will be higher than the rent. Very disappointed with Network Homes.

Avoid Network Homes at all cost. During my relatively short tenancy at the property I've paid my rent on time always with no issues, caused no social disturbance and have been the perfect tenant. A flooding occurred in my property over a four day period, during this time Network Homes has 9 different people come visit the property and failed to solve my problem.
During this I had to deal with extremely poor customer service, hanged up several time, given wrong information, delayed in taking actions all in resulted in damages to my floor. Not only this I warned them of the chance of the water leaking to the flat below, however, they ignored this and now the disabled tenant below has a massive leak in their ceiling from my flat.
They're refusing to replace my floors despite telling me they would, they just keep delaying with "investigations". Their complaint department is a joke, one in particular Sophie has lied to me and due to her slow action I've had to sit in the dark not knowing that the next steps are. If you're reading this Network Homes, please, DO THE RIGHT THING.
I was a prisoner in my home during this period and had to re-explain each time. I have been a victim of the extremely poor communication methods both Network Homes and their contractors share. Network Homes has shown no care for my mental health. Due to the flooding my house is full of damp; this includes the nights and days I spent during this situation.
I'm now finding it very hard to breathe, with respiratory problems, a weaken immune system. I've felt sick for a few days now which I am also seeing a GP for. The smell is also extremely foul and nauseating, it was completely ruined a place I once proudly called home. The actions of Network Homes and the handling of the aftermath of the flooding has given me worse depression and is arguably worse than the handling of the actual flood.
I'm currently in their stage two of their complaints, likely to take the Ombudsmen if they don't do the right thing and meet me half way. I will update this post depending on their action. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

In my opinion Network Homes has got to be the worst organisation in London. When you call the only people you're able to speak to are customer service and the rent officer, anything else, you're wasting your time. You're told someone will call you and no-one does. Many problems you have to deal with by yourself. The staff just get paid, very lazy people. Tbh the only people worth getting paid is the customer service staff. No doubt I'll be invited to email so they can address any issues I have, yeah right.

I would give a negative star if it's possible. I reported a roof repairing service for over 6 months now and I have been kept a promise but each time nothing happened. There are two big issues here: 1. Network Homes staff does not take a full responsibility to follow up the job and passively waited for customers to chase up. 2. The subcontract team is not reliable for some reasons.
I almost make a phone call every two weeks for 6 months now and still have not got any further yet. This has severely ruined customer relationship and drive me mad! Have you ever feel questioned yourself if you are qualified to provide such kind of services in UK. Please do not damage your public trust and liability here, be professional and provide a reasonable service!

Absolutely disappointing service. Have been emailing them for last 2 months, and every neighbour I know in my property about security issue, that car park gate needs to be improved as junkies and homeless people are breaking in. Nothing have been sorted, they sending me back to police and police is telling me that can't do anything that Network needs to step up security.
They double my service charge, charging for work they cannot provide invoices, STAY AWAY!. Every year I am getting extra charge for 700-800 pounds because they spend on something over the budget, I ask for invoice and they cannot provide. Just a update to a review it's more then 3 months since my first email and still nothing have been done. Absolute disgrace of a organisation!

Without doubt the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to be associated with. As a leaseholder my service charge has been doubled. They have totally made up charges. Firstly, I don't live in a tower block? You'd think they'd get this right. Secondly 820.32 for communal electricity? There is NO communal electricity? Where have they got this figure from? Totally made up. Oh, plus they still, after 3 weeks are yet to get back to me. GET LEGAL ADVISE leaseholders.

Very poor customer service from the Leaseholder team, who are basically non-existent and have ignored all my queries. Once I posted this review, the social media team were very responsive and helped direct my queries to the Leaseholder team who eventually got in contact. Not ideal that it takes a bad review to engage the leaseholder team.

Do not get into a relationship with this Housing Association. This year they have put my rent up by 7% and service charge has increased by 100 to nearly 300 a month. They provide no service! Shared ownership and in particular NetworkHomes is just legalised criminality. This is meant to be affordable housing for god sake! Avoid at all costs, the amount it ends up costing is not sustainable

Really disappointed with this housing group. Quick run down of events. Boundary line onto they're estate, my fence half metre away, clematis growing on "my" fence for over ten years and their gardening contractors go and cut it? No vines holding onto trellis so whole lot falls off fence into my garden. (It's my only privacy) about three meters of it. They won't take responsibility for damage and I'm still waiting for a phone call. I know its only a plant but it was home to alot of wildlife and I'm devastated.
