If you're serious about buying or selling a property in the Christchurch area, this is the company to visit. Michael is fantastic at getting sales through to completion, with minimal fuss. If you just want to browse and research, they also have a fantastic website where you can view properties past and present. Contact Michael, he'll make your move happen

I visited pettengels as part of a research trip ahead of a potential move to the area. Compared to other agents in the area pettengels was pathetic. The agent, Steve Forster, had an abrupt attitude and gave the impression that if we were not buying a property there and then he wasn't interested in helping. I asked for some literature (I.e a brochure) to give me an idea of properties currently on the market. it was like getting blood from a stone and I had to convince him to part with some property printouts.

I asked the agent what the housing market was like and his answer was "who would know?" Hmmmmm maybe local estate agents? Both me and my two colleagues were completely flabbergasted. Compared to other agencies we visited that day such as Richard Godsell and Austin & Wyatt the customer service at pettengels was terrible. If I buy in the area I will avoid this agency like the plague
