Services
Alastair Stevenson has been an Estate Agent in County Armagh since 1989 and opened The Property Spot in 2000. From the outset we have been passionate in developing long term client relationships, built on market knowledge, sincerity, integrity and trust. Today, with our local knowledge, years of experience and employing some of the best staff in the industry, we feel we are equipped to provide the highest level of service to all our clients. The Property Spot operates in the residential and commercial sectors selling houses, farms and commercial property.
This is crucial for us to provide our client with all the information they require in order to make an informed decision on your tenancy application. Once the references have been obtained and satisfied, we will move on to signing our tenancy agreement. It is important to note that you should not sign anything that you are unsure of and our negotiators, or a representative of your choice, can explain anything that you do not understand. The tenancy agreement must be signed prior to the tenancy commencing.
With over 15 years experience in the letting of properties across County Armagh, The Property Spot are the estate agents for you. A free valuation of your property where we will advise you on how much rent you could achieve per month and also on any changes you may need to make in order to secure the best possible tenant at the highest price.
Just a little note to thank you all for sorting out tenants for my mum's house in a very professional, friendly and courteous manner. It was very much appreciated. I have very much appreciated the professional and friendly support of you and your team at the Property Spot. With thanks and best wishes.

Alastair was meant to call us to tell us to arrive at the property, but no phone call and no apology. I found Alastair an obnoxious, rude and condescending man. I will never look at any of his properties which he is selling in the future ( so future clients of his will be missing out on their property being sold) and also I will be informing my friends and family of his behaviour.
I know a lot of people in the Portadown area. If this is the way he treats his clients, god only knows how his staff are treated. He puts on a fake posh accent which sounds ridiculous.

Bought our first home from property spot earlier this year and thought it was time that I reviewed. Trevor was the estate agent that we dealt with and he was the nicest, honest and direct estate agent we met and we had met a lot! Any time I contact the office the staff are always delightful and Trevor even still has plenty of time to chat and a fountain of knowledge.
I felt that they had my best interests at heart and were always on my side. If we ever go to sell I know we will use Property Spot and I just hope the next house we buy is being sold by them as well.

Highly unprofessional! Never phone you when they say they will, so don't hold your breath! They provide conflicting information and I recommend that you get everything in writing, or you will have nothing to fall back on. This place is honestly a joke and the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with. Stay away, they don't deserve the business.

Girls working in property spot where lovely to us! We had booked an appointment to view a house in Lisnagrilly Hall with an older man but took him almost over an hour to arrive? We weren't very happy with standing waiting for the hour. When we rang to ask where he was they said he was on his lunch?! Don't understand why he was on his lunch when there was a scheduled viewing appointment with us.
Not a good move making customers willing to spend a lot of money on a house wait for an hour. This is the reply I got from the owner. "Dear Chloe, Thank you for your review, I'm sorry that your viewing experience did not meet with your expectations or our normal positive service. I have checked our records, your appointment to see the rental property was actually one year ago. Whilst we endeavour to get to every appointment on time, at busy times, viewings sometime overrun leading to my staff running late.
If you had brought it to my attention at the time, I would've been able to give you the exact reason, but twelve months after the event, all I can do is apologise. Should you wish to view another property, do not hesitate to contact us. Alastair Stevenson" My reply. "If it was a busy time then your staff members should have mentioned that instead of 'lying' as your putting it and saying that he was on his lunch and that's why he was late.
Also I don't appreciate you ringing me straight after I made this review interrogating me down the phone saying it happened a year ago.it was still an experience I had with your company. Don't have a business if you cannot handle criticism. I find it hard to believe that you haven't had a complaint within the company the entire time you've been open.
I'll be changing this to a 1 star and leaving a more formal complaint on google. Like I said before I wouldn't stop using your services but clearly the company cannot handle small criticism and get their guard up in a non-professional manner, therefore I'll be taking business elsewhere. Also ringing to ask us to change the review we left, also unprofessional." Unprofessional and interrogate you if you have had a bad experience. I repeatedly said over the phone I still would use their services but how it was handled was unacceptable therefore will not be using them ever again.
