I can't speak highly enough of this firm. From the initial consultation through to completion, everything was handled with courtesy, competence and true professionalism. My sale wasn't straightforward and I don't live in the U.K., but Stuart handled the whole sale calmly and efficiently, often going above & beyond in resolving problems. He visited out of hours at a weekend to check storm damage and to arrange repairs.
He kept in constant contact with me across the miles and liaised frequently with solicitors. I am so very grateful for all the help he gave and for finding such a lovely new owner for my late partner's home. Brilliant firm and top recommendation!

We have been searching far and wide for our new forever home. with property in such demand we haven't always had the best experience from other estate agents. Mr Adam Taylor changed that in an instance, he was incredibly tentative, helpful and professional with my tight schedule and complex situation. Although we are still searching for our forever home we would be delighted to deal with Adam and the Dorchester team once again. Thank you.

We have had little previous experience buying and selling houses especially when a chain is involved. We found Symonds &Sampson provided an excellent service. The online photos were good, the description was accurate, well written and tailored to the property. The real plus was having the same agent from the initial visit to completion. Stuart was experienced, gave good advice and kept us well informed throughout. When we phoned the office, everyone was friendly and dealt with our queries. We recommend this estate agent highly.

Appointed as negotiators for Dorset Council against a few hoteliers promised 2 years previously, compensation for loss of income, (october 2019 to february 2020), Symonds and Sampson proved to be outside of their comfort zone. They took over 6 months to recommend an offer to Dorset Council, but then, Council may have contributed to those unnecessary delays.
The financial turmoil caused by covid lockdown and these long delays caused some outrage among the affected hoteliers and it seems natural to blame the people conducting the negotiations for this. We understand fees charged to Council may possibly have exceeded the grand total of compensation payable to the 15 hoteliers and if true, that also would seem rather unfair. Strangely, Council also paid the negotiator acting for the hoteliers - but that's Council for you. I gather Symonds and Sampson are fairly good estate agents otherwise but compensation negotiations with Dorset Council may be a challenge too far.

Symonds & Sampson acted on our behalf recently on the sale of our property. They offered an excellent service at a competitive fee. They were realistic in their pricing (which is not always the case with all Estate Agents) and were proactive and informative throughout the process. Would definitely recommend their services.

We have just bought and sold a house through Symonds & Sampson. Adam was our point of contact and he couldn't have been more helpful. He was realistic about the valuation of our house and viewings were all well organised. He kept us updated regularly and was friendly, efficient and professional. If you're looking to sell your house, don't be seduced into using an agent who values your house the highest or who offers the lowest commission, use the ones who'll give you the most honest and best service. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Symonds and Sampson.

We have just bought a house via Symonds and Sampson and wanted to say what excellent service they have provided. Adam in particular was fantastic - this has been a long process and he has kept things moving and us informed throughout. This is especially impressive considering we were the buyers, not sellers. Were we ever to move again, S&S would be our first choice as estate agents. Thank you so much.
