We have rented our home for 4 years and have had nothing but great experiences with the team at Watford estates. Any queries have been dealt with and they make sure to keep up to date with things like gas safety checks. Steve and Lisa are great and it's been a real pleasure to have rented from them- we're only leaving because we have bought our first home in another town, otherwise we would have stayed even longer! We cant recommend them enough!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Pathetic service. Called them this morning to enquire about the listing. Lady who answered the phone was short and rude. You can imagine what you have deal with if you were actually renting via them. Avoid using them at all cost.

Im rennting my home almost 4 years from this estate, and This is one of the best one. Sometime they rude, but you can find the way to talk to them. That s way only r star I given.

The worst agency I've ever come across. Specially the owner Steve. He's very rude, racist and enemy of the tenants. I understand he's there to make money for the landlords but this shouldn't be at the tenants expense unlawfully. He tries everything to keep your well earned deposit money- stay away!

Very unhelpful staff. Whenever you call them with the issue at property they are managing, they cannot wait to put the phone down on you, and you need to keep hassling them for essential repairs. During my 5 year tenancy, they never did Gas safety check and find out recently that's the law. Not recommended.

As a property management company I have had a terrible experience. The customer service is non-existent, behaving as they are not the ones meant to be providing a service to me. They made billing mistakes on two occasions and rather than admit their mistakes and try to find a way forward they have refused to take any responsibility for the initial mistake and their failure to identify it 8 months.

Not only were they rude and unprofessional in they way they spoke to me and handled the situation, but they would not apologise or make any acknowledgement of their mistake. They also refused my repeated requests to meet meet in person until eventually saying we could only between 9am and 2pm Monday to Thursday, but then when I said I could meet any time within those five hours on a Thursday they said that wasn't possible, refusing again to find any middle ground or make any effort to deliver a reasonable service.

When I said this was unacceptable I was told 'we can go about it a different way' and was threatened with a lien against my mortgage. This was absolutely shocking and I'm very disappointed with this service and would not recommend them to anyone. However they did inform I was welcome to make a formal complaint and advised me on how to do that, which was the most helpful they had been.

It's actually slightly unnerving how near obviously people only leave a review if it's a negative one. Watford estates & its agents are kind hearted, sincere & amazingly honest professionals in the world of estate agents & property. I have been privately renting my home(s) for nearly 15 years & I have never dealt with more caring agents who help beyond their means & understand the importance of finding somewhere you can call home.

Such a bad agency, they don't even want to help and listen to you. Lisa and Mark are very rude and unhelpful. Do not go there, there are way better Agencies where they will listen and help you

Contrary to reviews i have seen, it seems people only bother to review when its negative not positive so i thought i'd change the norm. My dealings with all members of staff at Watford Estates was fine and as you would expect from a professional company. I have recently rented a property through them, and over the time from viewing through to moving in i have dealt with every member of staff in the office and found them to be very helpful and informative throughout the transaction. I am now sitting happily in my new rental property. I would certainly deal with them again.

On our letterbox we have a very clear sign that says no junk mail. I chased up the man that put a flyer of theirs through the letterbox and he said 'I wouldn't call that junk mail' and walked off. So just for the avoidance of doubt a quick Google gives you junk mail noun informal unwanted or unsolicited advertising or promotional material received through the post or sent as email
