Avoid this agency at all costs. They are working with incompetent landlords like ours who wasn't doing repairs for 2 years and after the end of the tenancy he has been unlawfully refusing to return the deposit to us for more than 28 days, saying he needs to bring the flat up to the market, ignoring the fact that it is his own fault that he wasn't doing it in the due time.

No help from Scott city, even though his actions are undoubtedly against the law and the contract. All they do is respond: 'We don't maintain this flat!' We were left without hot water for three weeks during winter time as well - all thanks to that landlord. Avoid.

I've rented property from Scott City over several years now and always found the service exemplary. The guys in the office are always helpful and willing to listen even if I've had concerns that weren't strictly speaking within their brief. Recently I purchased my own apartment through them and they handled what could have been a challenging transaction with their usual professionalism. I think it's very apparent that this is a family run business who really care about their clients.
