Drummond Miller's origins date back to the eighteenth century but the current firm was formed in 1991 by the merger of two established Edinburgh firms, Drummond & Company and Pairman, Miller & Murray. Drummond & Co and Pairman Miller Murray were able to trace their origins back to the late eighteenth century and the nineteenth century respectively.

Limited interactions with DM, but they were not the most professional outfit. Tried to arrange a house viewing: had to phone 3 times over 5 days; on each call I was promised a call-back that never occurred. On attempt 4 I finally got a viewing, only for said viewing to be cancelled and pushed back by 4 days; by that point the property had gone. I can only assume this was a momentary blip in their estate agent branch's quality of service.

Liesa and Aine were very supportive during my emotionally very trying medical negligence case. I found them easy to talk to and understand. Our emails back and forth were equally straightforward. My experience as a tenant with Drummond Miller LLP has been very positive. Perhaps I was lucky, but they were very professional and at the same time they treated me personally. Whenever I had any question, I could contact my agent and get a rapid precise constructive response. They were always very clear and upfront, legally wise, stressing good practice, responsive when requiring any contractor service and generally helpful and supportive, even when I was about to move out of their own managed property.
