Kienan Smyth is one of our directors. He has great experience in the local property market, with many years involved in Student lettings as well as residential lettings. As Part of our enthusiastic team he will ensure that all needs are met. Michael Smyth is one of our more experienced team members with over 30 years in the property business. He has extensive knowledge of Exeter and surrounding areas. He is keen, enthusiastic and always willing to help.

Our personnel are specially trained and equipped to assist Tenants to find properties to rent that will meet their needs. We maintain a database of properties available to rent. As properties become available, our first action is to contact waiting Tenants on the database, who's requirements match the property.

Having been at university for 4 years and having dealt with lots of student property agencies, I can confidently say that Palmer Collins was the friendliest, easiest and most reliable agency I have dealt with. Kienan is lovely, replies within 24hrs to all emails and was always a huge help with any problems. Three years ago when I first arrived to Exeter (my first experience in the UK; I'm American) one of the agents spent a generous amount of time giving me free, useful renting and more general living advice. I haven't otherwise used Palmer Collins' services but this is a two-man operation and in my experience the smaller letting/property agencies tend to provide more attentive, personal service than the big companies/chains.

Thanks to both Kienan and Michael for their professional service. I remember when we did property viewing, Kienan offered to take us on his car to show us the area surrounding the property. It was very kind from him. The check-in and check-out were handled by an independent agent, so it is fair to both the tenant and the landlord. They are very quick in response to any of our request. Sometime we lost our keys, they provide one instantly.
We had a problem with low pressure for the boiler, they send someone to fix it in the same day. I would highly recommend Palmer Collins if you ever need housing in this area.

Palmer Collins were a great letting agent for us in our final year of university. They were so helpful and quick with any maintenance issues we had (would often send out people the same day or the next day) and were always very pleasant to speak to. As students we were very price conscious and their competitive rental rate, and the return of our full deposit at the end of the tenancy was a great aspect of their agency. Would highly recommend.

Just finished renting with Palmer Collins for over nine years. Length of time alone indicates how happy we were with them. Anytime any issues (leaking taps, replacement hob) work was done quickly and efficently. Apart from annual checks - they never disturbed us or interfered in any way. A pleasure to deal with and highly recommend if your looking to let.

What a lovely Estate Agents. I had been looking for a property to rent in Exeter for a few months and contacted a few Estate agents, some of who were not interested in my needs. One phone call to Palmer Collins and i had arranged to view place. 20 mins after i viewed the place i decided to take.
