Charles joined his father's estate agency in Sheffield, Yorkshire in 1970. After working his way up to Director he moved to the south of England in the early 1990s as Regional Director of the Halifax. Jonny is the Sales Director at Charles Peck and further adds to the firm's wealth of experience and knowledge having worked within the Chichester property market for over 11 years.

His local market knowledge and friendly proactive approach serves him well when out on valuations. Outside work Jonny enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children and is also a keen sportsman.

Work out how much you can spend on your new home. A Mortgage advisor can be very helpful at this point. Be aware that some mortgage advisors can search the whole market, and some are tied to a specific lender. We can recommend an advisor we have worked with for many years if this is helpful. Look at your outgoings and income, this will give you confidence that you will be able to pay the new mortgage. Consider improvements you can make to your credit rating as this will be of interest to mortgage lenders.

First Time Buyers Report

A person is generally classified as a first-time-buyer if they're buying their only or main residence, and have never owned a freehold or have a leasehold interest in a residential property in the UK or abroad. A mortgage is a loan taken out to buy property or land from a lender such as a bank or building society.

Probate Valuation Report

Where we complete a full probate valuation we make a charge of approximately 150+vat (varies with the size of the property). If you then instruct us to sell the property, we will deduct this cost from your final bill. You need to value the estate so that you know if there is any inheritance tax to pay.

Our first impressions of Charles Peck is that it is a welcoming, professional outfit & smiles all around the place. Karen & her letting team have been amazing from the word go. Nothing has been too much trouble & whenever we have need to discuss things, Karen has been on hand for my wife & I.
