Hunters were incredibly professional from start to finish, they gave us a fair valuation (actually much higher than we had hoped for) and the entire process from listing to offer took less than two weeks with several offers coming in over asking price.

This agency decided to advertise a property that was never legally registered. After my partner and I moved in we were told by Hunters that we would have to pay the council tax direct to the landlord. Although we found this strange we took it at face value as this was coming from a so called reputable agency. After moving in the property and trying to register for a parking permit this led to us being cross examined by the council.

We soon realised via the post office, BT and Barnet council that this property was never LEGALLY registered. When we then rang Hunters to ask why this was the case they went straight on the defence. After I accused the landlord being 'dodgy' I was told not to say that. Two days later we were told that we could be refunded all of our rent paid so far, electricity and deposit and therefore be able to break a 12 month lease 11 and half months early.

We sold our old house and bought our new house with Hunters recently and despite the hectic times of the stamp duty holiday we felt very grateful that we chose them as our agents. Easy to navigate around the website. Good amount of properties on offer. Viewings of properties are currently limited, however many homes have videos that you can view. If you do any viewings in person you are expected to wear masks etc. Good communication and fast response to queries.
