Wigwam Estate Agents and Letting Agents

As a letting agent I think they leave a lot to be desired. I live next door to a property that they manage. I have repeatedly informed them about the tenants blatant breaking of COVID restrictions and general anti social behaviour yet it continues. I have informed them of police visits to the property yet they seem unconcerned. living next door to a property that they manage has proved very unpleasant.

I recently purchased my first house through wigwam and I must say they were very helpful from start to finish. The estate agent called Rossi was very helpful and polite, I will definitely use them again in the future!

Learning to navigate the estate agency "game" has been a sobering experience since moving out to England. In the States, I'm use to looking for places on Craigslist, or in the classifieds. And while you can do similar searches out here (Gumtree, local paper), you are more than likely to spend the majority of your time and effort dealing with Estate agents.

And it PHUCKING SUCKS. The ridiculous crap they charge for is just unbelievable. However, I do have to give some kudos to Wigwam. Even though they still charge for ridiculous things (as ALL agents do) these people at least go above and beyond to help with whatever you need. If I'm going to pay an arm and a leg, I better get some customer service!

And Wigwam certainly does deliver :) When our washer/dryer went out and the owner refused to replace it (WTF!) Wigwam took our side and helped get it replaced. Whenever we had any issues I would drop them an email or phone call and they responded very quickly. That's what I am talking about -- good customer service. And they are super nice, too! Eventually, we are looking to purchase our own home. Until then, I will definitely continue renting from Wigwam. Not at places like ::COUGHS::Accord Lets::COUGHS::, who are quite frankly, a bunch of a-holes. True story!

My wife and I have just bought a house through Wigwam and we were impressed by the way they dealt with the sale so we decided to engage their lettings service as well for a house in Banbury which we had bought previously. It has been a great success as they had tenants lined up within a few days of our asking them to market the house - even before it had gone live on their website.

What has impressed us most about Wigwam, though, is that it doesn't matter who you talk to - they are all courteous, friendly and highly efficient. Emails and phone calls get answered promptly, quotes for cleaning were obtained within a day or two, electricity and gas checks were organised - as landlords, we feel we are being given a Rolls-Royce service. We hope and expect that this will be the start of a long and fruitful relationship.

I have just completed the sale of my flat and have been delighted with the service provided by Wigwam, and Jo in particular. I chose Wigwam because I liked Jo's approach when I first met her- professional, positive and flexible- and that has proved a very good decision. She listened to what I wanted and Wigwam have provided a quality service at a fair price and have done everything that she said they would.

The marketing details were excellent, the property sold to the first viewer, and Jo has provided regular information to me and liaison with the buyer throughout. I have no reservation in recommending Wigwam on the basis of my experience and would gladly use them again myself.

In an age of the Internet Property transactions, it is refreshing to deal with real breathing, talking, thinking professionals. Our sale is proceeding well and we would like to thank the team for making the whole process run so smoothly.

Dear Simon, Having now completed the sale of Trinity Close, Banbury I felt I would write to you and thank you for all of the work you and the team at Wigwam have done to make the sale as easy as possible. We chose Wigwam as our preferred estate agent based on the professionalism shown when we purchased a house with our son some two years previously.

At that time our son was looking for a property in Banbury as a first time buyer and Wigwam guided us through the buying procedure as there had been considerable change from when we had purchased our own house some 30 years before. We found that Wigwam kept us advised at all stages of the purchase and were available to answer questions or give advice whenever we phoned or called in at the high Street office.

The purchase went through very quickly and our son is now very happy in his first home. After losing my mother in law, I was appointed executor to the estate and asked Wigwam to act as agents to sell the bungalow in Trinity Close. Simon Durnin met me at the property to take all the details and write a description for the sale. Simon was very professional in his manner and was able to offer advice as to pricing and he was aware of potential buyers who may have an interest in the property.

The bungalow sold quickly but due to a very complicated legal situation the completion was delayed for many weeks. During this time, Simon acted to ensure all parties were kept up to date with any developments regarding the sale and had regular telephone calls and e-mails with all concerned. Unfortunately the buyers pulled out of the sale just prior to exchange but Wigwam were able to re-advertise the property and once again it was sold in a short time period.

Communication is the most important part of buying or selling a property.

Wigwam are approachable and were always available to answer any questions we had during and after the sale of the property. Whenever we visited Wigwam, we were made to feel welcome and also made to feel ‘valued’ as a client. We knew that if a problem arose, we would be informed about it and if we needed help to rectify the problem, Wigwam would do their best to assist.

Estate agents sometimes have a bad reputation but I can honestly say that in my experience dealing with Simon and the team at Wigwam, they really are a most professional hard working group and a joy to work with during the sale of the property. I thank them all for their help. Regards Mike

We were after a quick sale on our property. After being disappointed with our original estate agents, we changed to Wigwam Banbury. What a difference! The service was excellent from start to finish. The Wigwam team worked tirelessly to secure an acceptable offer. Once that was in the bag, completion took just under 6 weeks. Our only regret was not to have gone with Wigwam in the first place. If you want to know why they are different, just visit their Banbury office – it’s a great place. Very professional service. Highly recommended.
