Dean and the team were just brilliant. Each step was explained and time lines given. Move day went well with inventories done well ahead of time and hence I could start moving in early. The most important aspect for me was Dean found me the perfect property that suits my needs. this was so much more than no of bedrooms but style location and quality of finish. Without a doubt this element of the Mclaren experience sets them well above the dross that agents like Whites pedal.

Having been requested by this estate agents to carry out work on there behalf on some rental properties they manage, Mclarens have failed to pay our company for the work carried out. They have failed to reply to numerous emails and requests for payments. With a 15% mark-up commission they make on the work we have carried out you would expect a better service on paying for it.
If this is how they manage contractors I would not recommend being a landlord or tenant through this company. We are now in the process with the solicitors to reclaim the unpaid invoices.

Dean and the whole team at Mclarens do a fantastic job. From first contact to completion of our purchase they time and time again went over and above without question to ensure a smooth process. Their friendly and attentive service is something I can't hesitate to recommend and I would happily use them again.

I rented a flat through Mclarens, in general I found their service to be adequate. They are very efficient when it comes to reminding you when the rent is due but sadly not very efficient at fixing problems and faults within the flat. On one occasion however, Chris Clarke established himself as the Mclarens man who would go that extra mile to keep the tenant happy when he personally put hand down my toilet to clear a blockage. Sadly this was after I'd reported the fault 4 times and after the great bathroom flood which was the result of the blockage.
When i left the flat in Feb 2015 here were still faults that had been there since day 1. In summary, if all the staff were as good as Chris, I would recommend this estate agents to anyone. But, they aren't so, I won't.

Having been with another local agent for some time, I decided reluctantly to change agents. Doing some homework with the other agents in the town, I eventually employed the services of McLarens, a new agent in the town. In particular Dean Beasley, the proprietor, was nothing but professional and efficient. Within a month he had not only found a potential purchaser but immediately from day one sourced viewings.
I am pleased to say the potential client went on to to buy the property with both Dean and Greg keeping me fully updated on a regular basis. Communication is paramount in any relationship but I had no worries about this at all. One can only speak as they find but would not hesitate recommending this agent to others trying to sell in the area.

Dean and Greg found me a tenant very quickly - I know the lettings market is buoyant, but from my 1st call to the tenant moving in happened in a matter of days. The guys are managing the flat for me and have promised to check on the tenant every 3 months, which is good. All I've had to do is give them some keys, sign a couple of bits of paper and tell them my bank account details. I am very happy with their professional, no nonsense attitude and (for a change) think I may have met an estate agent I actually like :-).

Having moved from a rented house where the Agents and Landlord would do anything they could to make life difficult in my time there, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with understanding professionals that take time and attention to ensure a smooth transition into the new property.
