Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Erected scaffolding that blocked the only way in and out of the apartment building. Asked them multiple times to rectify, which they failed to do. Had to contact the Fire Department in the end, and Black Grace Cowley lied to them, twice, claiming it was resolved when it wasn't.

Black Grace Cowley were due to replace a cracked shower tray in August 2019. They eventually replaced it in February 2020, in the process leaving us without a bathroom for three days with no notice. They failed to provide alternative arrangements or a rent debate for the cost of staying in a hotel for three days. During this replacement, they failed to connect the waste pipe at the back of the shower and ignored us for a following four months while we tried to get it fixed.
The When they finally did come 'round to look at it, the letting agent they sent blamed the damp in the bathroom caused by a four-month leak was due to us using the washing machine to do laundry. In the lounge. Where the washing machine is plumbed in. Black Grace Cowley are incompetent to the point of malice. Do not use.

What a joke of a company to be honest. When we moved into the flat they did not even look inside to check what's wrong with it, like a broken window that was sealed with tape completely or the mold that was "eating" the shower and the dirtyness of the kitchen. After some time in that flat the handle on the window broke off, they were old and barely closing.
The maintanence guy that BGC sent out told me to put tape on it. And then after moving out the company blamed me because it was taped and not repaired, I called them 3 times in regards of that window and they said they will sort it out. Later they even declined that we had a conversation about a broken window handle. So after moving out I did not receive any deposit back. I am not the first person they do this with. I will probably reach out for legal actions against them.
