Richmond Estates is a family run business. We have managed properties in Bristol since the 1970s. As landlords ourselves we understand what is required. For landlords and tenants alike. We specialise in HMO properties, licenced and non-licenced, together with a number of single let tenancies throughout Bristol.
We cover all internal decorating, upgrade works and general maintenance works including the boiler and appliances. Any changes can be approved or rejected by you before they happen. We even maintain the garden and employ a regular cleaner. All at No cost to you. We will agree a monthly amount close to market value, Guaranteed for up to five years and not a penny less.

I have lived about 2 years at a property managed by Richmond Estates, to be honest I am very pleased with the service that they provide, all the time fast response, if something was broken, it would be replaced in the shortest time. The prise is very well balanced with the size of what you rent, and when I left the property I have received my deposit in few days.
Another positive thing that I can emphasize is a weekly cleaner included in the prise of the rent, which is amazing . A personal thank I want to tell to my agent, Andrew Koller-Kovacs, he is a very professional agent that knows his job, anytime when I had some problems with the property he used to respond very fast and resolve the problems. Once I have forgotten my keys at work and couldn't have access to my Room, it was Saturday evening, I called Andrew and he came from other town to bring me the keys.

STAY AWAY! Would give 0 stars if I could. shocking! The customer service I have received is DISGUSTING! I firstly made an enquiry on 9th September to which I got a response saying the rooms been taken. I responded on 10th September asking if there was anything else available and got 0 response. I've now seen the same property/room online and re messaged to see if I could please view the room. Rang the office up to book a viewing to which I was greeted by the "receptionist" who in all fairness was pleasant but could not assist me with my enquiry.
She said shed pass over details and try and get them to call me back as soon as they could as they work Monday-Friday. I agreed and said that's fine and proceeded to give her my details. A message popped through on spare room saying it had now also been taken to which I responded that it was ridiculous and that they were awful estate agents as they clearly have proven me correct that they are.
I then after the call get a call from a number who had quite clearly seen the message and thought it was best to call me directly to start shouting me. He was arrogant, stuck up and quite frankly a horrible man. The way he was talking was so nasty, raising his voice, not letting me speak, talking over me. Id tried to take his name down as I said id be making a complaint and warning people to stay away and he stuttered and refused and hung up on me. Please don't waste your time with these people. They clearly don't care about anyone but themselves!

Andrew cares about the properties he manages & the people who pay to rent them. He's gone above and beyond our service expectations after years of renting properties, he brings back the trust we lost in letting agents a few years ago. Answering calls & texts after hours, doing jobs himself when there's nobody else to cover. Supporting us whenever we need it. This is a company that deserves all the credit and merit it receives. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this agent, I've not been a tenant myself but I am a next door neighbour and have seen the awful way the manager / owner has treated some tenant's, forcing them to get the police involved so that he would leave a tenant alone, his attitude and professional nature is non existent. He made living in one of his houses hell, and if it wasn't for the police telling him to stay away the tenant would of has detrimental effects to their mental wellbeing.
The company only cares about one thing, the whole street loved everyone in this house bar the landlords sister and they isolated targeted and interrogated because of it. Its come to light that the last few weeks the got friends, staff and family to write multiple fake reviews die to honest bad reviews and they wish to hide the truth. Hopefully enough people can realise what this company is like and chose to go with an alternative company who actually appreciate and respects their tenants. on the final note, this landlord left jobs unified for months, including a complaint about a broken bed that was left undone for 2 months.
He makes up multiple allegations saying that he worries for the safety of his staff due to the tenants yet he is the one having been spoken to for harassment. Blaming a tenant for doing nothing wrong is unacceptable. Hopefully he will learn from his mistakes.

I rented a flat from Richmond Estates for 11 years until I bought my first property. For the area I lived in (St Andrews) the monthly rent was very fair. If ever I had an issue with anything my landlord would always attend very quickly to rectify the problem and was there for me at all hours. I have recommended Richmond Estates to family and friends and will continue to do so as they care about their tenants and are extremely professional

Mr Andy was agent for my room. Fixed things very quick. Some men his own. Some men not work for him but stillvstill good. House very nice near town and I made friends for my first time into UK. 1 person in house took 3 of my eggs. But not Andy fault. Other person in house was drinking and hungry. It's only 3 eggs so I still happy. My new friend is Mr egg thief. Good time.
