From our very first valuation meeting we knew Hannells were for us. The whole experience has been open, honest and supportive. We just got a good feeling from the start and that only continued- With Hannels we have sold sstc and have an offer accepted on our new home in under 6 weeks! We have been in communication with Hannells for the past few weeks whilst purchasing a property listed with them. From the get go, the staff at Hannells have been personable, kind and attentive with helping us through the process of buying a house as first time buyers. We mainly had communication with Lorna who was incredible. She went above and beyond to keep in regular contact with us regarding the status of the purchase and replied quickly to emails. I would highly recommend Hannells for either purchasing or selling a house. I cannot fault them!

The team at Chaddesden are great. Nothing is too much trouble and they are consistently friendly and helpful. They know the local market, give excellent advice and they kept us up to date at every stage of our sale. Highly recommended.

Aimee, Michelle and Lorna were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout the house buying process. As first time buyers, this can be a tad overwhelming but I must thank the team for their patience and expertise in explaining the process and being there for every step along the way.

We have dealt with the Alvaston and Chaddesden office and so far they have been really really helpful! Especially George, Eliza, Aimee and Michelle. We haven't yet completed but I'm sure the great service will carry on till the end, and I would certainly recommend this firm from a buyers perspective at least.

The team in the Chaddesden Office are really special! They know the market, you can reach them easily, they are on it and nothing is too much trouble. Hannells handled multiple viewings for us and were not too hasty in assuming pricing was incorrect when silly offers or feedback could have suggested maybe we might be off the mark. My wife and I decided on Hannells after comparing them to Leaders and Haart Estate agents. We felt that Hannells were more down-to-Earth and honest in the way that they would help us sell our home, as well as being competitive in terms of price. From the beginning, the team at Hannells in Chaddesden have been fantastic - their communication has been great and they've been a pleasure to work with.

We mostly dealt with Lorna Nicholas who was superb - her professionalism (and humour during some of the more frustrating times with the selling process) really helped reassure us that we were in safe hands with Hannells. We definitely recommend Hannells and can see why they are Derby's most popular estate agent.

My experience with Hannells was cold and extremely frustrating, no one will ever convince me that they earned the money I paid and I would urge you all to avoid them. Believe me I could go into lengthy explanations of why I would never entertain this shop again, but I won't because most of you will use them because you are buying or selling in Chaddesden and think that they are best placed.

All I can say is that's the same mistake I made. I found them argumentative and unhelpful, it generally took days for them to respond to me and in the end the successful sale of my property was due to Rightmove.co.uk and the buyer and I, communicating on Facebook of all places. They don't listen to feedback, accept that they are wrong, or even apologise when they are told by the client that dealing with them was stressful and frustrating.

The amount of Hannells staff my property was passed between was incredible leaving you uncertain who you should actually be dealing with and the only traction the sale actually got was when another agent, who hadn't been involved to this point, became involved and started to actually push the solicitors. I've lived in Chaddesden almost my whole life and purchased a few properties during that time, but this was the first time we had let Hannells get involved.

I can honestly say that next time I'm interested in buying a property I will pay much more attention to the mob advertising it as I have no intention of ever being involved with Hannells ever again. Some of you may take my advice and some may not, if you've had a good experience then leave a review saying that. I'm doing the same based on the really poor experience that I had - I know Hannells don't listen to their clients and accept honest feedback.

At least putting this on here you have the chance to make the choice. Nowadays the fact that an Agent has a local store has nothing to do with their ability to sell your property - most if not all, also advertise on rightmove.co.uk anyway as hardly any traffic will go to their own website anymore. They say their purpose is to amaze their clients? After dealing with them I'm amazed they're still in business.

Very friendly and professional service from the start. We was kept upto date on a regular basis with helpful advice along the way. Would not hesitate to use Hannells again and would highly recommend them.

Sponsors the Darley Park rock concert. Great if you are going to the concert - not if you live in the area and have to put up with the bass music pumping through the neighbourhood all night.

Diabolical service. Was going to market and sell two properties in Littleover Derby with them but after the experience my brother has just had with the branch noooo way. I wouldn't sell though Hannells if they were commission free and paid my legal fees!
