Danielle became our Property Manager last year. She is always ready and willing to help with issues that occur and shows a genuine interest in the welfare of the tenants and condition of the houses. It must have been a steep learning curve but one she has faced with enthusiasm. I'm sure she will grow from strength to strength over time becoming a key member of the team whose input is valued.

David Pike was my property manager at Nicholas Humphreys and I can honestly say he was fantastic in helping me as a tenant and rectified quickly any issues I had with my rented property. He was always extremely courteous and respectful irrespective how small the problem may have been. Overall my dealings with Nicholas Humphreys during the 5 years I dealt with them were always very positive, especially David who looked after me and the property with the professionalism one came to expect from all Nicholas Humphrey's employees. I've been using NH as the managing agents for my properties for a decade now. I'd initially dealt with Dan and later had good communication with Jonathan. Currently, my properties are managed by David. The service I have received throughout has been very good and I know my properties are in good hands, from managing these on a day to day basis, right through to ensuring they always comply with ongoing changes to any laws and regulations within the lettings industry. I have and continue to recommend NH for these services.

We have been very lucky to have Danielle Speirs as our property manager, who has been so efficient and helpful with us, and goes the extra mile to make sure we are treated as valued tenants. We really appreciate how quickly Danielle responds to our emails and maintenance issues, and she always keeps us in the loop regarding updates on our property. David Pike has been the best point of contact at Nicholas Humphreys! He has been with our student house for the last two years remaining helpful, kind and readily available when we need. He has made, what can be a hard process, very easy! Could not recommend David more to prospective tenants!

As a uni student, it was difficult for me and my housemates to find and secure a house, since it was our first time. But Nicholas Humphreys helped us a lot, especially Danielle. She was professional, polite and was very patient with us when we kept asking questions. She ensured that the whole process was running smoothly for us. Shelley Williams is the best property manager any tenant can ask for. It was the first time ever I was renting a property which meant I had A LOT of questions. During my tenancy, Shelly has patiently answered all of my queries. She has also addressed all of my reports (such as asking for a bulb change) quickly and successfully. My confidence in Shelly's property management skills is one of the reasons I decided to sign a contract for next year.

Shelley Williams has been so helpful and responsive with every little query I have had! She has helped my son and his friends secure their final year student house and been on hand to answer all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. Although they haven't moved in yet I'm sure Shelley will continue to help whenever the need arises. I find her personable and professional- the perfect combination.

Will from Nicholas Humphreys looked after us well during our tenancy in a student let in Lenton, resolving any (rare) issues promptly. We had an issue at the end with Tenancy Deposit Scheme at the end which was a shame but all was good otherwise!

Fantastic service from start to finish, even in difficult covid-circumstances. In particular, Will worked incredibly hard to make sure all tenants of my building were looked after and kept in the loop of any issues etc. Overall, the best experience I've had with a letting agency and renting in general.

Having used Nicolas Humphreys in both Nottingham and Manchester for many years, I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Our agent Maddie was very responsive and helpful compared to other businesses during the pandemic. She was prepared with all the details of contact and deposits after sensing our urgency, thus understanding our predicament and getting it sorted hastily. I can't speak for what they are like when you actually live in one of their properties but I have just put down a holding deposit on a house and they were very helpful. After ringing up I was immediately sent a virtual viewing and then after ringing with questions later on Madeleine answered the phone and was extremely helpful, answering all the questions she could on the spot and then going and finding out the answers for the other ones.

The replies were very quick leading to me being able to put a holding deposit down on a house the same day I found it- something very difficult at the moment (most likely due to the pandemic) as many companies are taking a very long time to respond, if they even respond at all. Just terrible, lack of communication from this company, had people round to look at our house heard nothing since. I have had two experiences dealing with this operation, the first was average and the second exceptionally poor. The apartment rented was grossly misrepresented as a professional let, only to discover the entire complex was an out-of-control student 'pad' - they seemed to run the block without hinderence. The toilet was inoperative for six days, the apartment was dirty and the outside area incorporating the parking area was strewn with garbage in a way I have not encountered in a Western dwelling. Rectification of issues was glacially slow or non-existent.

One mini-bin was provided for for the entire complex, attracting vermin - the Council was called to clean up twice and charge the landlord. I broke the lease and was charged to the letter - I am considering legal recovery of my losses. Avoid.
