Disappointed in how things ended up. As someone who struggles with mental health issues I felt very pressured by the agents to take on the lease earlier than we could have. Me and my partner were accepted as tenants to rent a property we both loved. We agreed on a provisional move in date but then my partner had to go to England with work at the last minute so we asked if we could move in the following week.
We were then guilt tripped into taking the flat sooner even though we both weren't available to move in. I felt really pressured to say we would move in earlier when we physically couldn't. They told us the landlord was annoyed and had went to a lot of trouble apparently getting the flat ready for us. All we wanted was to move in one week later but because the landlord was annoyed he had to think about it and let us know.
We asked the agent to let us know as soon as the landlord had decided. They were off for Easter so as soon as they were back we emailed asking for an update but we didn't get a reply. The following day we asked again and reiterated that we were interested in the property and could move in at the end of the week. Again we didn't get a reply. Then on the day we said we could move in we got an email to say that someone else has taken the property. Disappointed that the agent and the landlord were both so vindictive and petty as to go ahead and give the property to someone else without telling us until the last minute and all because we asked to move in one week later than planned.

We both sold and bought property's through Agar Murdoch & Deane in Comber and found them, and in particular Johnathan, to be nothing short of outstanding in their commitment to service our needs in all things property sales. With their amazing local knowledge, customer commitment and communication style we have no hesitation in recommending Agar Murdoch & Deane to be the first port of call when considering buying/selling/renting property.
