Services
Valuations for probate, banks, legal services, inheritance and capital gains tax purposes. We provide a valuation and expert witness service advice to clients and their legal team in connection with the majority of property matters. We regularly represent clients in court with regard to property disputes including wills, divorce cases, boundary disputes etc. We are happy to undertake the sales, letting and management of commercial property including retail, industrial, commercial and office premises.
For over 30 years we, at Tim Martin and Company, have prided ourselves on an unrivalled customer service and a professional, hands-on approach. Our unparalleled experience and extensive local knowledge ensures our clients get maximum exposure and the best price for their property. Service was superb and nothing was too much trouble for the team!
That said, we are not averse to sharing small pearls of wisdom from our various experience on such things, to consider before and during the marketing process. Before you launch, instruct your Solicitor to prepare all the documentation, so that a contract can be sent out with no delay once we have found a buyer for your property.
Have a clear idea about the sort of property you want and where your priorities lie, and check that these can be met within your budget available. It is worth sitting down with your family to agree your list of 'must haves' and 'like to haves'. Must haves can be simple things such as apartment, semi-detached, detached, etc., number of reception rooms, bedrooms, garage, close to a bus stop, close to a specific school, close to or away from neighbours, etc.Like to haves can include such things as size of garden, second bathroom, en suite shower room, 2 garages, close to sports facilities, away from noisy road, etc.

I don't know if it is standard practice among estate agents to ignore potential buyers but twice I have emailed this estate agents asking for information on a certain property and have been ignored. I even left a voice message. If I was to go into a car showroom with 100k in my pocket you can bet your bottom dollar you would be treated like royalty yet this estate agent seems to think they are above providing a service to potential buyers.
I wrote to two other estate agents the same day inquiring about properties and they replied within an hour. If you want to sell your property I would look at other estate agents. Update - Tim Martin have since contacted me and given me the information I have requested but I don't know how to change the rating.
