The Arthur family can look back over 137 years of service to the public of the North West and Donegal. The first estate agency founded in the City by a member of the Arthur family was set up in 1880 by Mr Hugh Arthur, who opened his business in Castle Street after having spent several years with one of the leading legal firms in the North West. The business was continued by Mr Arthur's son, Mr Jack Arthur, who made an outstanding contribution to estate agency and property management.He introduced completely new methods that were of particular benefit to a large and influential clientele, whose appreciation of the services and personal attention which was offered, led to a steady expansion of the business throughout the three North West Counties.

Incredible service yet again! We bought our house from Jeremy and the team 11 years ago. We had great service then and they were the obvious choice for our sale. Jeremy proved to be an excellent choice of estate agent for us and especially so during this period of economic downturn and uncertainty due to covid19. Every house sale has its difficulties and peculiarities and this sale was certainly one of those. Jeremy liaised with us very closely during the whole lengthy period and also with the purchasers, .
He kept us well informed at every stage and we always had full confidence in him which was completely justified. I sold my house through this company. The asking price was achieved within a month. I also purchased a house from John V Arthur at the same time. The sale and purchase transactions were concluded in less than 3 months. Looking back, this is quite a remarkable achievement. I cannot praise this company enough.
