Having over 40 years experience in Estate Agency in the Solihull area, Melvyn was one of the founding partners of the business in 1994. Melvyn still takes overall control of the day to day running of the company and is based at our Solihull office. Patrick joined the company in 1994, when the company expanded to include a lettings and surveyors department.

The first good thing was that we discussed our situation of being first-time buyers and having paperwork in place with LC. She did a brilliant job presenting the factual information to the seller in making a more informed decision. I will highly recommend her for this work. The next phase was even more challenging, where managing the chain was not easy, and the seller had to change their plans due to unforeseeable circumstances. SA handled the situation professionally through continuous liaison with the parties involved and keeping everyone up to date.
We were first-time buyers; she offered us guidance to understand the next steps. Here I can tell that her chain management was a lot better than some of the other well-known estate agencies in this area. For these reasons, I would give Melvyn Danes five stars and say well done to Lucy and Sam! I do genuinely hope that their firm values their contributions to their business!

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the great service received from Melvyn Danes. We were kept up to date every step of the way. Staff are polite, friendly and very accommodating, allowing us to view the property a few times whilst the purchase was taking place. Having a good estate agent takes away a lot of the stress when you're making the most expensive purchase of your life. Thank you Melvyn Danes, particularly Sam our appointed Agent. Highly recommended!

Despite being told by friends and commercial associates on how bad danes were I nevertheless gave them benefit of doubt and thought I would see there service for myself. Put an offer for a property I liked only to hear nothing from them, so went into office where directly infront of the entrance is Vanessa's desk where she was sat scoffing walkers crisps despite me coming in made no attempt to stop eating infront of me.
I was greeted by "lettings is next door" to which I replied I'm looking for sales. I let vanessa finish her crisps so I approached sue who I asked about the property I was interested in and was told the client has accepted another offer. Something is not right at this agency, you don't know who you are actually dealing with as they are "all dealing with it". The attitude and service is dreadful. Avoid if possible

I instructed Melvyn Danes to sell my mother's house, as she had to go into a care home. The service was friendly and professional from start to finish. The house was placed in the Market at a realistic price and sold within a few days. I was kept up to date of progress with the sale throughout. Melvyn Danes took all the potential hassle away. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely instruct Melvyn Danes in the sale of my property in the future.
