I travelled from London to Leamington Spa couple of weeks ago. I suppose to have a viewing with Jeremy. He didn't show up and didn't bother to email me or call me. Later that day I have seen the property was under the offer but the fact he couldn't be bothered to let me know just shows.

Fantastic experience buying my first property with York Laurent. I had looked around a number of properties with Estate Agents who you could just tell didn't really care, but they really stood out when showing me around the properties on their portfolio. They had enthusiasm and cared about what I was looking to buy and what would suit my budget. When I came to make an offer, they were extremely helpful and engaged every step of the way.

We recently used York Laurent to find and purchase our Apartment in the Jewelry Quarter. Mike, our estate agent, was exceptional. Not only did he make himself available at all hours and take on additional responsibility after our solicitor had failed to obtain the necessary documents. But he also was able to negotiate an agreement between us and the seller where an issue arose late in the purchasing process that could have seen the sale fall through - with both us and the seller being completely satisfied with the outcome. We hope to be able to use him and York Laurent again in the future.

I had a fantastic experience renting a property through York Laurent. Viewed a few properties in the Jewellery Quarter and St Pauls Square, and found the perfect property viewing with Luke. Judy in the office helped me through the referencing and handover process and ensured the often stressful moving in period was as easy as possible. The maintenance department helped me with a few issues I experienced during my tenancy, and also ensured the deposit release process was smooth.

DO NOT TRUST! The agents at this agency will do anything for the sale - after telling them all my concerns they kept saying yeah itll be fine yeah dont worry just pay the fee (WHICH IS NON REFUNDABLE) - Then they came back and said my check failed on something I TOLD THEM ABOUT and they asked for a ridiculous amount to allow me get the property. They hassled me until i had no choice but to back out and of course I couldnt get my money back!

Me and my boyfriend viewed properties with a number of agents in the city centre and York Laurent provided by far the best service. Mike showed us round a property that hadn't yet gone on the market and we LOVED it. It was such a relief having seen some appalling apartments with the likes of Accord and a couple of others. Judy sorted out our contracts, move in date, inventory clerk etc and she has been absolutely fantastic.

Always very prompt to reply and keep us updated. Since moving in we haven't really had any issues but Judy and the York Laurent team have been very quick to respond to any questions we have had. Couldn't recommend them enough. Plus, they have two lovely offices in the city centre which makes them easy to visit and keep in touch with.

As a successful businessman, I noticed that lettings was a profitable way to make money, so invested in a few properties in the Jewellery Quarter, I shopped around on various city centre agencies, including Maguire Jackson, Belvoir, Accord and a few others, and found the staff in these 3 that I have listed to be rude and did not want to accommodate me, upon reading various reviews of York Laurent, I was skeptical to say the least.

I visited York Laurent's office on Frederick Street, and found the staff in the front office to completely contradict the reviews. They were polite, professional, courteous and made me feel as if I was their priority. They scheduled me in for an appraisal and was met by Michael, who was extremely professional, knew what he was supposed to be doing, unlike various other agents that have visited my property, and was delighted when he gave me a good value for the property.

They found me a tenant within 10 days which was excellent, and who I have had one rent payment late, but Sue in accounts was straight on the case. IF YOU WANT TO BE LOOKED AFTER, USE YORK LAURENT!
