A hidden jewel! Excellent and reasonably priced garden centre, though fully stocked farm shop and great cafe - not as expensive as another recent review suggests! Brilliant place!

VERY expensive food & a lot of options unavailable. Not much else to do. Farm shop has reasonably priced goods & a 'bring your own container' section for dried & frozen produce.

This review is for the farm shop. Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Extensive bread varieties, cakes, jams, frozen food, drinks, cheeses etc. All very good quality. Plenty of parking available.

Farm shop. Fare selection of meats, some fish, dairy products, a frozen section and the main reason I usually visit cakes and bread section. Not cheap but worth a visit for a treat. There is also a 'restaurant' on site and some other amenities associated with 'farming'. Plenty of parking but not paved. Hope this helps.

What an amazing team. Due to a misunderstanding we were booked for lunch and not mother's day afternoon tea. My mum and I were gutted. However after some discussions they managed to compile the most amazing tea for the 4 of us and we were so pleased. The service and the food were absolutely amazing.

What a fantastic upgrade, although the yurt was really funky, the new place also has a really unique feel to it. The inside area looks cosy, we sat outside which is spacious and is going to be so popular in the summer. Extremely impressed with the lady on the reception who bent over backwards to accommodate us. The waitresses were also very polite, helpful and friendly, although a little stretched as didn't get water till the end of our meal, but that is a minor detail. The food was delicious, really excellent. And the provenance of the food is also very explicit which is great. Highly recommend.

Beautiful shop. Produce top notch, friendly staff, actually on a farm. Tomatoes, eggs, pastries, vegetables and bread - ALL are great and I also thought it was good value compared to other shops that overcharge. lovely atmosphere and a treat to shop. Even though it is a bit of a track from me I will be going to this shop again.

Updated to a n old tractor barn from the Yurt. Very nicely done. Love the agricultural theme throughout. Not a cheap place to eat but excellent quality and everything made on site. Gets quite busy at weekends so need to book in advance.

Ace as always. The food in the Barn Kitchen is top draw, it really is very very good and a shame its not open at night as a restaurant, I imagine that cooking talent could do a lot with a dinner budget and sit down diners. Farm shop, lots of selection, veg is very reasonable for good quality veg that lasts and lasts. Lots of nice ancillary items but, this is where the cost can creep in, for example I'd gone to get some tea from a local company to tey it but 5.75 for 15 teabags is significantly higher in price than Harrods very good tea, which is 10, but for 50 teabags and a local company does not command that prestige, same with some of the meat bit careful shopping can still reveal some real gems, the pork and wild boar sausages are fantastic (not in stock today) and I grabbed some burgers as they may be dear compared to normal fair, they are far from normal fair.

This is a local gem, the expansion of the eating area is good, shame the indoor bit is not bigger as its a victim of its own success, not so much for us with a 3 month old but a small wooden kids area would make it a place to shop, eat, drink and the kids could let off some steam, its popular enough not to demand it, so just a nice to have. Farm shop could also carry warm pies and sausage rolls for those not dining in, imagine that would do a good trade. Well worth a visit and your custom, use it or lose it
