Excellent service. As a purchaser, I found the team to be friendly, obliging and very loyal to their clients at the same time as accommodating our needs. Jason runs an efficient office and has been helpful and professional throughout. Amber, the sales negotiator was "onpoint". She is very sensitive to your needs and requirements, enthusiastic, personable, and excellent at her job! I would highly recommend the Newton Abbot office.

The guys at Fulfords have been an incredible help to me, the staff and in house mortgage broker have assisted my purchase and got me the best deal possible. I will be going back next time I move house. Couldn't have worked with better people on my journey of being bought out and moving into my new home. Just awaiting completion

I called the Lettings Manager on 26/01/22 to register with Fulfords as I had been advised our landlord was selling the house we were living in. My experience started badly when it turned out the staff at the Dartmouth branch had given me the number forsales and not lettings. I was advised that the Lettings Manager was away from her desk and to either email her or leave a message on her answerphone and she would call back later.
I chose to do both, hoping that would ensure a prompt response. The next day, having received no response, I called again on two occasions and again got no response. A month later, having secured a property through another agent I emailed the Lettings Manager at Fulfords (who had still not replied to any of my previous messages) to advise her of this.
On this occasion I copied in the Fulfords Customer Services and explained that I was not impressed with their poor service. This time around I received a very swift reply in which the Lettings Manager claimed to have been on leave when I had previously contacted her and proceeded to throw her colleagues under the bus and say they had failed to flag my messages to her. Needless to say I won't be using Fulfords in the future.

During our rental process Tammy and Perry have both gone above and beyond to help us. Tammy is helpful, professional and knowledgeable on every question. The communication was fantastic, she really worked with us and was honest throughout. Perry also went above and beyond. He kept us updated on the process and worked really hard and promptly on everything. We're really grateful and would recommend both.

More interested in selling mortgage products and advise than property. Promised to call back on two occasions and never did. A real let down. Wouldn't allow me to view a property without a mortgage 'agreement in principle' - which is a bit strange as I don't need a mortgage. If I were intending to sell a property I definitely would not want Fulfords handling the sale.

Very poor service. Tenants beware! We left our rented property in September (rent fully paid up and throughout our tenancy our inspections had good feedback about the condition / cleanliness) and still no closer to getting our deposit refunded. OVER 12 WEEKS LATER!. Our voice messages and emails are being ignored and when you get frustrated and go through to speak to someone in the sales department they say someone will call you back but they don't.
They keep blaming accounts, but that was the story in October when they thought we had payments outstanding. I have since emailed a breakdown of payments made, showing that we owe nothing but we are still waiting. COME ON AND GET THIS SORTED!

Really pleased with fulfords newton abbot. Jason (branch manager) and Simon (mortgage advisor) were super helpful. We probably werent the easiest customers, being first time buyers and unsure of the process and already losing 2 properties prior to the lovely house we now have, we were convinced that something bad was going to happen at any moment!
But Jason and Simon had excellent communication skills and were very calming and explained everything to us at every stage. We are now in our little home and extremely happy! Thank you again guys!

I used Fulfords Newton Abbot for an buy to let investment purchase in 2020 and then subsequently used their tenant find service for letting. In terms of the purchase they were fine and I had no concerns. The letting service was a total disaster and after eventually moving on from the tenants found for me through Fulfords and letting the property myself using a cheap online portal for 10% of the price I realise I was essentially charged a lot of money for a terrible service which ended up costing me thousands of pounds in legal fees and lost rent. Fulfords claim to have professionals with local knowledge finding you a reliable tenant.
My experience was staff who don't listen to your requests, having to chase the team up to find out what was happenning and 'click button' external referencing which is is no way verified or checked in branch. In my case this led to Fulfords recommending a fraudulent tenant who had provided completely false information which was never checked. When this came to light the company didn't want to know and offered no help other than suggesting engaging a legal professional.
When I complained and asked at least for a refund of my fees they refused. Eventually they submitted a complaint to the referencing company who did agree to refund my fees. Before releasing this to me they deducted money from it for an invoice with them dating back a year that they had never provided me with or requested payment for. Another example of complete lack of professionalism or courtesy.
I am more than happy to pay what I owe but I expect to least be told about it! My review summary is that this company adds no value for its letting service. They are not doing anything that you couldn't do better and cheaper yourself. I don't normally write reviews but I was so disappointed with this company that I have shared my experience in the hope that someone else will avoid suffering the same.

Absolutely fantastic service from Tammy and the team at Fulfords in Newtown Abbott. Nothing was too much trouble and Tammy especially has gone above and beyond of any agent I've ever had dealings with in the past. Without her I really don't know what we would have done. I have absolutely no problem recommending Fulfords and wound definitely consider using them in the future.

Excellent service from Jason, Helen and the team. After a truly dreadful experience with another estate agent I contacted Fulfords. What a good recommendation! I wish I'd used Fulfords at the start of my house selling experience. They got the right potential buyers to view through listening to their clients needs. They are prompt to follow up viewings and queries. They are very professional and friendly and I highly recommend the excellent service they provide. Thank you!

What an amazing team! We have been renting for many years and I can honestly say this is the best team by far. Nothing was too much trouble, communication and support was excellent. Information was given in a timely manner and the team showed empathy and understanding. Cant recommend these guys highly enough. Thank you all. loving our new place as well
