Our sale was not an easy one. My mother in law's bungalow has been almost untouched for 20yrs and choosing the right agent was critical for us. Others were too arrogant or had no idea what they were doing and then there was Ben, who i think is the best estate agent i have had the pleasure to deal with on the buy or sell side. He was polite, genuine and honest, but most of all he delivered for us on what he said he would do.
He's been outstanding for us, even when we lost our first buyer and couldn't have been more helpful, even giving us some great advice and much needed local knowledge around our onward search. Then there's George, who picked up the batten to support and push on with Ben. George is relatively inexperienced but his communication has been absolutely superb with us and he couldn't have done any more for us.
We have a tricky buyer and he has managed the entire situation brilliantly, especially as he has been learning too. He's a lovely and helpful guy and his customer service has been really excellent The money spent on fees has been completely worth it and the two guys are an absolute credit to this agency. We had been recommended by a number of people to use bacon and we are glad we took the advice. My wife initially took a meeting with Anna and was given all information on how they would sell our house. Extremely underwhelming. Put in an offer on a house in Worthing (Poulters Lane), the agent said there was another viewing going on so didn't put the offer to the owner until we chased at 5pm (we put in the offer at 09:10 the same day). They were hedging their bets and hoping for two offers. Turns out they didn't get an offer from the other buyer and the property remains on sale as we retracted our offer the next day as we lost all faith in the agent - everyone loses when the agent isn't worth their salt!

I tried to sell one of my properties with the Broadwater Office. I went to the Office personally and received a very warm, professional and informative welcome by some of the team. They were able to answer all the questions I had and gave me confidence to join them. However, upon dealing with another member of their team sadly he appeared unable to remain unbiased in my divorce, and I found his manner to be rather abrasive, hence me having to go through the motions again with another agent. I don't hold this against Bacon & Co, but I do advise anyone to ensure YOUR personal agent supports YOU.
