Absolutley diabolical at the end of the tenancy.witheld 100 of the deposit for professional carpet cleaning when the inventory stated carpets were marked and stained. So why were they not done before we moved in?. TBH thats a small one, despite the fact that during the tenancy we removed rotting astroturf from the rear garden and replaced it with 200 of sleepers and pea gravel which stopped the rear garden flooding.
Oh yes and we did extensive repairs to the garage including facia boards and the concrete cladding which was brought up to an acceptable standard and we painted this badly neglected outbuilding, and to the stone window ledges which were peeling and in generally poor condition no we repaired those as well. And then there was the incident of the front fence which a member of the public demolished doing a uturn in a car also collapsing the drainage ditch at the front of the property which was essential to prevent the front garden flooding.so the member of the public gave the details to us to pass on to Taylor Garnier who couldnt be arsed to chase him up so it was down to us the tenants to put the fence right and dig out the drainage ditch because we were the tenants.quite appalling and then they deduct 100 off the deposit at the end so essentially "we screwed you and then made you pay for our screwup" Sorry but absolutely rubbish.
