Worst 1 year contract ever. Never once asked how we settled in at all or called if there were any problems. Horrific customer service. They are just messengers for the landlords, they do not get involved or help with any situation, as they should. We left the apartment clean, up to standard but the inspector messaged us saying the landlord wasn't happy with it.
The inspector should be the one checking everything first before anyone else to make sure the standards are good, or it'd be useless to have it as your job title. The boss may need new staff or train them to actually care about the clients. I would not recommend going to Cowley for any properties in the future. I suggest going private, there are higher chances the landlord will actually care about you. POOR QUALITY.

Really bad Douglas service. Had a terrible Landlord, and agency did not help or respond well at all, had to suffer a whole years contract. Agency did not check our spotless apartment after we left, and the landlord lied saying we left it in a mess, they could of easily made this up! Agency is not responding about this and is not clear about will happen to our deposit!
I couldn't care less about the money, the problem is how some people will lie for some money. We didn't get a call once the whole year we moved in. Most decent agencies do. I wish the Isle of Man had a page where we can talk about different properties. Some of these landlords and agencies are TERRIBLE. If someone will make one it would really push Landlords agencies to better their property and attitude. Please stop this nonsense

I rented my flat out through Cowley Groves and paid for the full management package. The Tenant never changed the utility bills into his own name and missed three rental payments all of which I regularly reported to Cowley Groves and was constantly told "Don't worry, we'll get it sorted!" Well they never did, rarely responded to emails, rarely called back when requested and eventually had to evict the Tennant who is still owing close to three thousand pounds.
To top it all off I was constantly told that the flat was immaculate as they were supposed to regularly check it as part of the service I was paying for, was absolutely filthy and required thorough cleaning from top to bottom! I would not advise anyone to rent out a property through this company!
