We recently rented a property and mainly dealt with Evie and sometimes Jared throughout the process. I really do recommend them, the service was excellent. It was a stressful time for us but the fact everything was done so quickly and professionally helped no end. The whole process was so efficient from getting a viewing, applying, being told we was accepted, and especially the referencing was done very efficiently which we really appreciated as we needed a quick move. Evie kept in constant communication with us via email or phone and all documents were provided quickly and easily. Evie and Javed was amazing and the 4 stars is completely for them! Landlord sold our property and Evie helped with finding another one, ensuring ourselves and 3 children had somewhere to call home. Having said this, I would wish that the property inspectors held the same standards when checking out a property as when conducting the inventory. Some considerations for the fact that houses are to be lived in would have been nice and the fact the property is a new build as when it's an older property that gets noted. This definitely tarnished our experience. Unless you are going to repaint the whole property before you leave it you may as well say bye to your deposit.

We were looking to rent an apartment for quite a while since our landlord was selling the property. Tried lots of different agencies, some of them were awful at discussing things, and some would say we do not have enough documents, etc, etc. Then we stumbled upon this apartment that was let by Howkins & Harrison, decided to try and apply. I did tell them everything other agencies told us and they advised us to still apply.
We did, and after a few days we paid the holding deposit and then after a few more days we got accepted and yesterday moved in into our new CLEAN apartment. So far I had the best experience with these guys, really saved us : Shout out to Javed and Evie.

Howkins & Harrison were the estate agents for the property I purchase, and are now also the ones managing the property, and I couldn't be happier with their work. The whole team across both sales and lettings have been courteous, professional and approachable right from the start, and especially helpful to me as both a first time buyer and first time landlord at the same time! I've received yesterday the key of my new flat, I am very pleased and happy about the area, about the flat how it looks so nice and that after 6 years of doing 44 miles per day to get to work finally now will take me only 1 mile. Never been so happy like now, That will save loads of time for my self and of course 300 a month just for the fuel that I used to spend.

Jamie at Howkins was extremely helpful when it came to selling my home. There were some twists along the way, but he kept me updated with every new development. He was always keen to do the legwork to try and push things along and get everything sorted by any deadlines that needed to be met, and all with a great customer service manner. I would definitely recommend using Howkins & Harrison to my friends and family, and if I move home again, then I will be returning myself. A great company to deal with, and Jamie is an all round great guy.

From the minute I enquired about the property I would be renting Evie was amazing and she kept in contact all through the viewing process and aftermath and helped me get settled in straight away, from finding out I had the property on the Monday, to getting the keys the following Monday all moved very quickly but in the best way and it meant I could move in straight away and get everything ready before a busy period at work! All very professional and helpful definitely recommend!

Having not used an estate agent to rent in several years and having troubles with our previous agent I was apprehensive at first.
