As a former student I'll say something that most of my peers can agree on: MOST agencies in Bournemouth go out of their way to screw students and take them for every pound they've got. Clifftons gave us our first positive experience in using a rental agency. Their staff was unbelievably patient and helpful. Shoutout in particular to Shaznay who helped us out with everything while we stayed. Responsiveness to maintenance problems was always quick.

Even when checking out, we received a much larger amount of our deposit back than we expected, given that we forgot to notify that we were not renewing our tenancy at the end of the month. It's important to highlight the few good agencies out there that actually do their best to help out tenants, and not just find ways to help landlords take their deposits.

Thank you for getting us the asking price on our property and for managing and steering it through the process. Absolutely delighted with the staff at Clifftons and a massive thank you to James for keeping us updated and Iain Miller for his persistence and professionalism. Iain had such enthusiasm right from the start and really worked with us to make sure the property presented in the best light.

We took his advice on staging the house - maximising its appeal - and enabling him to show it at its best. He very quickly had three offers which he steered into a solid sale at asking price! His experience proved invaluable in guiding the conveyancing process and sorting out those little cliches which are inevitable. We have no hesitation in recommending Clifftons and in particular Iain who apart from being a very experienced professional - is also a very nice chap to do business with.

Unprofessional and complete waste of my time. After accepting an offer on a buy to let property and chasing the managing partner (Iain) relentlessly to get things moving, I was informed at the weekend that their client has decided to take a higher offer from another person who was better suited as they had seen the property. It's a BTL investment property!

So I'm not sure why or how that makes a difference, but he wanted me to be sure that it wasn't about that money. Well that's good to know. Enough time wasted with this firm. DO NOT do business with them. They've lost all of my future investment business in the area, good work Clifftons!

Cliftons State Agents Bournemouth Exceeded All Expectations. Superb service, professionalism, attention and co-operation. We have just completed a purchase through Cliftons and have been impressed and delighted with the service they have given us as buyers during a traumatic time. Iain Miller in particular, went above and beyond the usual estate agent remit to help secure a sale in these challenging times.

He kept faith whilst our own buyer "dithered" and Iain kept everyone informed all along the way. Have to say the staff at Clifftons were very helpful, I was looking for a property to move into ASAP and Jamie who works in lettings was very helpful! she got back to me on the same day and was booked for a viewing that very next day. everything was very quick and straight forward. The staff in general were very helpful and I would highly recommend Clifftons to anyone who's looking to buy or let a property. 10/10 from me
