Applied for a property at Church Hill Coleshill, well overpriced (750 back in November, 2017, available "immediately" allegedly), but convenient for my family. First Choice took 300 for the credit check and reassured me that the Landlord is ok with all the arrangements. First Choice letting agent told me that everything is ok with my application and arranged the day to move in.
The day before, First Choice contacted me and said that the Landlord wants to see me. When I met the Landlord, he was not aware of any arrangements and decided to undertake a new check up. Also he said that he is "not in a rush" to rent his property anyway. What a disaster! However, I went to a different estate agency and rented a property in Coleshill straight away, the property at the Church Hill still on the market 3 months later but much cheaper now. BTW, when u consider the property bear in mind the electricity and gas bill.
Wall do not have any insulation, no loft insulation either and on a top of the excessive rent you have to pay a fortune for electricity/gas bill. They are scammers to get your money for the credit check. The same applies to the property at the Parkfield Rd. Avoid at any cost
