Having dealt with many letting agents in recent years, I can comfortably say that Collinson Hall provided us with the smoothest and kindest experience of any letting agent we have dealt with as tenants. Issues we reported were dealt with promptly and questions were always answered clearly for us. I would like to thank Collinson Hall for their service and cannot speak highly enough of them (particularly in comparison to the experiences we have had with other letting agents).

Following a bad experience with an estate agent in Park Street, we decided to work with Collinsons - and what a difference! Having wasted a year with the first agent, I was pleasantly surprised when I met Ron. Not only was he sympathetic and sensitive - it was my deceased mums home we were selling, he assured me excellent marketing, and used a professional photographer who showed the house at its best.

We had an offer on the second viewing - after approx 2 weeks - a serious purchaser who is moving in this Friday. From initial meeting with Ron to the exchange of contracts Ron and his team have been fantastic. Always keeping us informed and assisting with negotiation. If you expect a professional, speedy and courteous service from an estate agent, you need look no further than Collinsons. Mrs Q

Unfortunately, feel the need to edit this review. After flawless service and communication between the estate agents and myself prior to signing the tenancy. Things have not gone as well since. It would seem once the commission has been made that the level of service has dropped significantly. The person preforming the inventory could not tell me where the property meters were and gave us the wrong information which has resulted in a financial loss for us.

Whenever I have emailed about queries to the appropriate person I have been ignored regularly. I have to send multiple prompts and reminders/phone calls in order to get any kind of response. I have been more than helpful and polite when speaking to staff and explained my frustrations for them to again be ignored. There is a clear lack of attention to detail, which is something I would have thought would be a priority within this field.

I have been made to feel like a nuisance whenever I have requested information sent over or actions to be taken. For example arranging for the boiler to be fixed, not being sent the inventory, answers to simple questions, information about the gas and electric suppliers (that we were told we are not able to change) to following up on sending someone over to sort issues. Massively disappointed with the service.

I was prompted to write a review once the contract was signed and was happy to at that time however that was not a representation of the true quality of the company in my personal experience.

We have just bought our first home with Collinson Hall and had a great experience! Becky and Alison have been amazing all the way through the process and kept us updated every step of the way (sometimes even faster than our solicitor could!) They were always on hand to offer their help and advice, which we really needed as first time buyers, and also recommend a great mortgage advisor for us as well! Thank you both for making this so easy :)

Just at the offering stage.usually I would not write a review but had to given the fantastic service I have received from David and the entire team. Thanks for actual being genuine, reliable agents and decent humans. We need more people/businesses operating like this to actual make a difference in the world. I would thoroughly recommend Collinson Hall estate agents. They have just helped with the sale of my father in law's property and in particular Alison and Becky were so professional, lovely and attentive. They kept me updated at every stage of the journey which turned into quite a long one due to no fault of theirs. Recently dealt with Collinson Hall in purchasing another property in St Albans and the team were fantastic at keeping me updated throughout the entire process, which wasn't straight forward as there were lots of offers on the same property! I felt at ease the whole way through and was always fully informed of events. Would highly recommend the team at Collinson Hall and thank them for their professionalism and help throughout the process, by far the best experience I have had with an agent whilst buying in the area.

We have just let out our first flat and so far we are very happy we chose to use Collinson Hall to manage our property. Daniela, from coming out to view the property, to finding tenants (found very quickly), and answering our many questions has been a delight to deal with, always so prompt and helpful with her responses. Suzanne has also been great at helping to set everything up, even when there were a few bumps in the road.

It is very early days, but I have no doubt that the team and Cristina, our day to day contact will continue to be helpful and professional moving forward. Would definitely recommend.
