During the past year, we have used Frosts for selling, renting and buying. The team has been super helpful, diligent and above all honest. After having a terrible experience with another high street during buying, we were so pleased to have Frosts dealing with our new home. The Harpenden Frosts Team were wonderful. From the rapid and flawless marketing, spearheaded by James, we gained an offer within a week of instructing them. Then came the tricky part - what looked like a smooth cash, no chain sale, became very convoluted. However Trudie and the team persevered on our behalf and got us through to exchange helping maintain the integrity of our onward purchase. The whole team were diligent, responsive, professional, reassuring and friendly throughout. Would highly recommend them to would-be sellers.

She also tried her best to have our offer accepted on a house we liked. Thanks to her professional negotiating skills we had our offer accepted and now have happily moved into our new home!

Ricky Veale was exceptionally helpful and informative when he valued a house for me. He gave me evidence to show me how and why agents may overvalue a house to get your business when they have too few properties to sell, only to subsequently reduce the price after a month on the market at the inflated price. I would recommend him for getting a house sold quickly at a realistic valuation, which buyers will bid up rather than down. His transparency is refreshing.

We (my husband William and myself) have used Frost's estate agents Harpenden for about twenty years to find tenants for our local flats. We have always been very happy with their service. They have always listened carefully to our requirements, helped us with the levels of market rent and always kept us abreast of developments during the process of finding new tenants.

And they have always taken care to check out our proposed tenants carefully to minimise the chance of any future difficulties. Additionally Frost's have ensured that we are aware of changes in legislation affecting landlords. In short they are highly recommended.

The young guy Jonathan Zimmermann was so attentive to my specific needs, having spent much of the last year in and out of hospital. As I don't have a printer, he even dropped the relevant sales particulars at my home. Great customer service in general since Covid 19 has been dreadful, so this was a breath of fresh air.

The people at Frost's Estate Agency went the extra mile to make my house sale experience as stress-free as possible. They were patient, helpful and supportive at all stages from initial valuation through marketing, viewing and on to completion.

I can't praise Frost's Estate Agents (Harpenden branch, with James, Ronni and Johnny) highly enough, particularly having had a comparitively dreadful experience with another agent previously, for their professionalism, expertise and generally being kind, responsive and utterly organised, right down to the multiple viewings on one day leading to a quick sale, and Ronni's ongoing communications are always so on the ball. Thank you all so so much, you've made a difficult process so much easier than I expected and I would recommend you highly to everyone!

I've had the great misfortune of both renting and buying through this lot recently, and the best advice I can offer is to avoid at all costs. When renting, do not expect any deposit back even if you have the place professionally cleaned.and do not expect any maintenance to be carried out, despite regular requests throughout the tenancy and regardless of how good a tenant you are.

You can also expect unclear, rude demands for monies post tenancy. As for buying - I literally don't know what they do for their money, aside from sticking a for sale board up and opening the front door to potential buyers. Zero knowledge of the property, and a couldn't care less attitude throughout. I also made the big mistake of paying 400 for their mortgage 'service', only to end up finding a much better deal by myself! I can catagorically say I will never entertain the idea of using them again. Beware.

Through out the sale process of our house we found Frosts to be very professional and helpful. Thanks a lot to James, Ronnie and Trudie they came across as very pleasant and approachable. I would especially thank Trudie to make sure our sale is progressing and constantly chasing the solicitors, at the same time keeping us informed. Thanks a lot for all your efforts!

Jonathan Zimmermann has been excellent. Very proactive bringing properties that might suit to my attention and good follow up as well. As most I have been on with several agents. Jonathon has been the best agent by a long way. It's been so unusual given the recent market I felt I should give this review - unusual thing for me to do.

I will be highly recommending the team at Frosts to anyone & everyone! I initially chose to put my property on the market with James who was friendly, professional and most importantly not 'pushy' (like other estate agents I'd met previously) As the sale progressed the service I received from Trudie was excellent. She has been in constant contact, at the end of the phone and has always responded to emails extremely efficiently, liaising with myself and other parties in the chain. I contacted Jonathan Zimmermann in the early stages of looking for a new property in the area. Throughout he was extremely helpful and easy to deal with. He maintained good rapid communication and although I no longer have a need to purchase a property, I would gladly contact him again should the need arise.

If I could give this company a '0' star rating I happily would. On 2 different occasions we have arranged viewings for properties to then be told the property had already been let, after we've traveled 2 hours to view them. On another occasion we made a viewing and were told en-route that they would be rearranging the viewing for a Saturday 'as its more convenient' for them.

Of the 3 properties we did view, one woman was nice and polite, another turned up late then didn't have a clue what she was talking about and the same woman at the final property gave the impression she didn't want to be there. We actually considering taking one place that these guys were offering, but upon reviewing their fees we thought twice (just under 700 for two people). There are plenty of other estate agents in St. Albans, and I would much rather trust them with my money than this bunch of crooks.

Great properties to rent but they are not very organised! Glad im dealing with the landlord from now on!
