I bought a property from this estate agents last year, been meaning to put a review. Through a difficult covid year and a lot of hanging about with the sellers, Mark at Abbott and Abbott couldn't have been more helpful, kind and understanding. Excellent service for both sellers and buyers. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I have used Abbott & Abbott. Both experiences have been first class. They are professional, provide excellent feedback on the progress of my sale, and only brought qualified prospective buyers to my home. I have only good things to say about the level of service I received.

I can not recommend Abbot & Abbot highly enough. Their professionalism was on a level not seen very much in this day and age. I met with Mark initially to discuss my options for selling my property in Bexhill. Darren did the viewings, achieving above the asking price, in no time at all. Both Mark and Darren were supportive, efficient and super professional throughout.

It was so reassuring to know they were on hand to advise at every step, even helping me with issues, I know were beyond their remit. It was quite a journey, but we got there, Thanks to you guys at Abbott & Abbott.

We viewed several properties through Abbott & Abbott. All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. We eventually found a suitable property and had an offer accepted on a flat in Bexhill. Throughout the process, Mark has provide us with considerable help and advice. He obviously knows the area very well. The process has been complicated and protracted, but Mark has dealt with us in a professional but friendly manner. He is never too busy to help and has a good sense of humour. If only all estate agents were like this.

Michael, Mark, Darren and Keren are all absolutely lovely to deal with, this is probably the best Estate Agency that I've ever dealt with and I've bought and sold a lot of property in my time. They are patient and understanding and communicative and helpful and most of all are totally honest with you throughout the entire sales process, I simply cannot recommend them enough. If I lived full time in Bexhill-On-Sea I would ask them for a job! Lovely company full of lovely people, don't buy or sell through anyone else in the area!

Abbott & Abbott are a great estate agents and I would highly recommend using them for selling or buying property. Their team are proffesional and helpful. Our main point of contact was Darren, who was a pleasure to work with, he kept in contact and was supportive and informative throughout.

We used to rent a house managed by Abbott & Abbott. I would recommend this agency as they are professional and approachable. We've always been informed about any inspections or maintenance works well in advance. Steph had always promptly resolved any issues and we have always felt that we're in good hands in case anything unexpected happens. Our landlords have also been very forthcoming and helpful. Overall we've had a very good experience renting from Abbott & Abbott and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

What an outstanding company to deal with from start to finish! Special thanks goes out to Darren who was there every step of the way, and made crossing the finish line a fairly straightforward achievement. I deal mainly with Mr Worrall at Abbott and Abbott. I find him to be extremely professional, quick to respond and knowledgeable of the local market. Every tenant Mr Worrall has found for us has worked out well and I believe that is due to the time, effort and experience he brings to bear in the selection process. As a result I go now to Abbott and Abbott exclusively for all our property rental requirements. In these days of poor service being the norm, I am happy to thoroughly recommend this company, five stars.

From the initial telephone call, the valuation and the property being placed onto the market, Darren was polite, friendly, honest and genuinely interested and enthusiastic. We were given an honest appraisal of its value and the likelihood of achieving it. After agreeing a very good commission rate, photographs and measurements were taken and within hours we were sent the sales brochure for our approval.

On the first day of sale, we had four viewings and two offers, one of which we accepted, we were also regularly updated on the progress of the sale. Personally, I believe that Abbott & Abbott are the best local estate agency in the area. Thank you.

It seems the lettings agent that was conducting our viewing might have felt a way about our race - this was the most uncomfortable experience in our house searching so far.and I truly hope doesn't reflect the agency's belief and customer service. From the moment we showed up on time he didn't express any interest in giving us information about the property. Had we approached him with attitude and disrespect then maybe his behaviour might have been justified.

All he said was "just look around the property is empty" - There was no enthusiasm, eye contact and any other information given I had to press for more however I had to repeat myself when asking property related questions. Honestly the most insulting thing about this encounter was his looking away from us as if we're wasting his time. I honestly thought because we'd approached the agency in person a week early and had a chat we'd have a human experience but after this viewing our hearts are so disappointed.

It's like at any moment someone has to remind you you're the 'other' and unwanted but ultimately our money is just as valuable. I hope this helps this agency do better. We're genuinely looking for a property to live in and just because we're black doesn't give anyone the right to be dismissive and rude. Do better.
