Godfrey John & Partners are an independent family run firm Established in Bexhill in 1973 and have now been trading locally for forty-five years. Originally set up as an Estate Agents by Godfrey John over several years he moved the emphasis of the business into specialising in Property Management, with a substantial portfolio of managed properties ranging from two units to eighty units has been built up. Today we manage properties in Bexhill, St Leonards, Battle, Eastbourne & also South West London.
If there are any planned works to the property which will cost any individual leaseholder more than 250 we are obliged to carry out a consultation procedure. This can be a lengthy process taking several months to complete. Firstly a Notice of Intent is served explaining what works are intended and inviting nominations from leaseholders of contractors they would like to carry out the work.
Godfrey John and Partners have been the managing agents for Dorset House in Bexhill for many years. Since I joined the Board of Directors 7 years ago I have witnessed a huge improvement in the quality of service they offer under Graeme John's direction. During that time, there is no doubt that he and his staff have responded to the challenges of changing regulations and increased competition within his field of operation and I am happy to say we have received excellent service from them and look forward to continuing our good relationship for the foreseeable future.

West Hill Property Management engaged Godfrey John & Partners over a year ago. Graeme and his team have done their best given the difficulties the pandemic has wrought on everyone. We are Leaseholders with a share of freehold Ltd Co which has a robust board of Directors but who lack experience in Property Management. We unwittingly inherited some problems when taking over the freehold and requested the services of an established Management Company to work alongside us in navigating our way through the legalities and technicalities whilst providing access to appropriate facilities. Godfrey John's team are very friendly and helpful and Graeme's wealth of knowledge and experience have been invaluable to date, he has longstanding relationships with some excellent contractors and surveyors and the combination has enabled us to achieve a huge amount in a relatively short period whilst keeping projects very much on budget.
