My Experience from start to finish with Brannen have been fantastic lucy who did the original valuation was great and the photo process was seamless. Since then I have dealt with Ellie for the actual sale and since then gillian who has been extremely helpful throughout and has been on the ball with my sale to get contracts exchanged on time. Thanks very much and couldnt reccomend highly enough.

Last June 30th bought the property we are in, but Brannens were so slow to sell ours I know we said we were not in a hurry but it was so slow. The person that bought our property happen to be passing with husband and dog and they bought it we might as well have done our own selling. Lucie that does the valuations is really good I went through them as she was very professional but the rest dont know what they are doing.
A few years ago I worked in an estate agents and Brannens are not top of there game. The biggest thing is communication with every body involved and that doesnt seem to happen they need more training after all to buy a house will be the biggest thing in most peoples life. The reason I am doing this review now is I have been reading other peoples reviews and I have had to say something.

Nearly 3 months since the door on the garage I rent came crashing down. They keep sending out companies to repair the door, but each company makes a point that they can't repair it, so I'm still waiting for the door to be repaired/replaced, but I'm expected to keep paying money for something that has my car locked inside. Now they are saying it'll be another 4 weeks, as the landlord is wanting to repair the door. Getting beyond a joke now!

Horrible company. They are so eager to take your money for a holding deposit and after that have zero interest in helping you. I paid the deposit, ready to pay everything for a property as soon as it was available, and this company decided that having to wait ONE week to get a paystub from my employer in the middle of a pandemic was just too difficult to deal with. Zero communication from them about this, just randomly decided they were no longer interested in having me rent any property from them. Avoid at all costs. Oh but thankfully they were "happy to refund me my holding deposit". Which they are required to by the law.

Horrible customer concern. Quick to take money but awfully slow with response rate. I had to physically go in office to get answers as to why I wasn't hearing from them. Impossible to get ahold of and rude staff. I spent time and money working with them just to be ended with nothing. Will be getting my money back.

I would highly recommend Brannen & Partners for their professionalism and excellent service. Samantha, Lewis and Bal were great from the start. From providing guidance and excellent market knowledge they were able to market my property for rental and generate and arrange viewings and get me great tenants within a couple of days. They sorted out all the checks, Inventory and Tenancy Agreement.
The team are very responsive and are at hand to answer any questions and provide regular updates throughout.it was a faultless process and I can't thank them enough! I am using their rental management services so i know that I am in safe hands and look forward to using them for all future investments.

This state agent are not professional at all and very rude staff and service. I am renting the property from them and after a phone call to them engaging a conversation about the rise of the rent and actually on benefits as due to no work I informed them that the universal credit do not pay me the full rent witch resulting me to pay the difference witch it's not a problem at all.
As the rude person was Barbara. I had many many questions and requested some answer but fail to reply nor contacting me regarding the questions asked. Once we engaged the conversation they keep rising their voice interrupting me during me saying as they keep shouting and hanging up the phone few times despite calling them back. When I requested to not talk to Barbara following hers rudeness and uprofesionalism we informed me that I have to leave the property as the landlord requested the possession of the flat as he decided to move in.
I know in fact that is totally a lie as even after requesting the detail of the landlord for confirmation at this day they do not proced my request. They know that I have a long health issue witch I been asked to shield by the North Tyneside Council and this is totally ignored by the state agent really aggressive and telling me that I was wrong and I have to go to work despite paying my full rent.
Unfortunately at this stage the state agent have been ignorant and unprofessional. At this stage I know that by doing so and by not getting me the details of the landlord they hiding the true and making things up on behalf of the landlord. If this was true the landlord would be able to contact the tenant and at least and am sure he will do his apologise considering this covid19 crisses.
I do believe that they have one property that they rented out witch something really bad happen to the previous tenant and maybe afraid for me to tell the new tenant that if they are aware about what happened to the previous tenant as I'm sure it is the law. If the state agent have not informed the new tenant the state agency will be on big trouble. As a landlord my Monkseaton property was managed by Brannen's for 4 years during which there were two tenants who left the property in a filthy and disappointing state which Brannen's described as 'average'. Curtain poles had been pulled down, walls and doors painted on, Sky TV installed without permission and with a lot of damage to walls and skirtings from the back to the front of the house (the property already had cable connected to the main living room). Keys were lost including the fobs for the auto-garage door.
Primarily the house was dirty and no attempt had been made to clean, for example, carpets. The toilet had not been cleaned and I thought for awhile I would have to replace it (until I discovered Domestos limescale zero). The basin was blocked and the garden overgrown. My issue is not so much with the tenants, but the way that Brannen's had allowed it to get into this state, and that they considered it acceptable to potentially advertise for a new tenant without a complete clean.
Somehow they had not noticed the deterioration during inspection, it was not communicated to me (or the tenants, who ended up losing bond that they could have avoided by maintaining the property better), and they had no records (such as photographs of the interior/exterior) with which to prove which tenant was responsible for what. In response to their reply below: I don't use my real name on social media. The situation was resolved by cleaning it myself, repainting all of the rooms and moving to a different property manager.

I think the service provided by Samantha and her team in the Letting Department is second to none. The calibre of tenant they provide me with is excellent I have no complaints. I would not hesitate to recommend Brannens to anyone considering renting their property - in addition their charges are I think very reasonable. D Nichol

They let my property but their attitude to customers is not good. They dont understand loyalty to customers or good customer service. I had several complaints one of which made it to the top, and they STILL didnt read it properly, no apology, useless. Former tenants left me a message advising me to avoid this agent too, not sure why. Avoid.
