We recently used Churchill Estates to rent a new flat in which we just moved in, and we could not recommend them enough. George, our letting agent has been amazing: attentive to our needs, kind, efficient and highly professional. He made the whole process a breeze and 5 stars are too little to describe the experience that he offered us. Thank you!

Brilliant service from Daniel, Gary and team. Wish we came here at the start, rather than wasting time with other local agencies (no names needed) staffed by people with trendy shoes but who ultimately haven't got a clue. Churchills is an "old school" agent in the best way possible. Honest, transparent, and professional, with a deep and long term understanding of the local market.

We didn't end up buying a property with Churchill, but after 2 years of searching for a new place (and dealing with a *lot* of estate agents) I wanted to say that these were the most genuine, decent and organised estate agents I met through the process. From a buyer's perspective - we always got properties that matched our search criteria emailed through to us and they took on more viewings than any other estate agent.

Churchills have been amazing to deal with from start to finish. They produced professional photos of my property that was being sold and highlighted each feature and detail. Daniel Casey was exceptional with his feedback and I don't remember ever having to chase up for an update. The rest of the team at Churchills were also attentive and knew who I was when I called back. Thanks again for the stress-free sale, hopefully I will never have to move again, but will definitely recommend Churchills.

We could not recommend Alex at Churchills enough. We were so grateful to have our first buying experience with him. He was, considerate in this advice to us from offer to close and always very gracious with his time - he took us around to see the house multiple times after we had purchased it. Alex also recommended the solicitor who helped us get over the line just in time for stamp duty holiday and helped us regularly liaise with the vendors when needed. Andy Binnington and his team at Churchill Estates Wanstead branch provided exceptional service when theyvrecently sold our home. We invited other, well established, larger local agents to list our property however their valuations were way off (either pie in the sky high or 70k under) so it was a no brainer to list with Churchill Estates who valued the property realistically and promptly found us a solid buyer following multiple offers from multiple interested parties. I would not hesitate to recommend Churchill Estates to anyone looking to list a property to sell in Wanstead.

I am not someone to submit bad reviews for the sake of it but due to the extremely bad customer service and underhanded practices that I have experienced in my dealings with the people who work for Churchill Estates Wanstead, I felt compelled to write this review. The first date of my offer they tried to pressure me into using their mortgage adviser by inferring that I would be accepted as the preferred buyer if I change my mortgage adviser to theirs.

I did not change my mortgage adviser but the seller still accepted my offer. Throughout the whole purchase process I was being chased and threatened with losing the preferred buyer status because they felt that the purchasing process was not quick enough. They are unkind and bullying to the extend to ask me what I am going to do more than 20 minutes in a 2 bedroom flat during second viewing which was almost after 3 months of my first viewing for 7 minutes.

I had to spend 50 minutes just to do the measurements myself as their floor plan was not representative at all. My first viewing was only for 7 minutes and they did not allow me to have a second viewing stating that tenants were emotional and did not want to show me the property. I had to rely on the floor plan more heavily than I would do normally- my mistake.

Their floor plan came with a caveat that all dimensions shown were approximate. However, there were areas on the floor plan I was provided that where dimensions were inaccurate by half a meter and the room shapes were unrepresentative. To summarize, I find the majority of the employees working at Churchill Estates Wanstead are unethical and clueless individuals who do not know the meaning of customer service.

Therefore I recommend you to stay away both as a seller and buyer. Buying or selling is already a stressful process. Go and deal with more intelligent and kind people in order to not to make it a nightmare. PS: I sent this review for them to post on their website with an expectation of a reply from them, but they did not post it. No wonder why 179 out of 179 recommend them on the reviews on their website.
