Dealing with Davis Estates for a my property purchase was effortless, they were prompt in responding to queries and supporting multiple viewings of the property, even multiple times in one day. When my agent had annual leave others were quick to cover and reply from their shared inbox, something which I was originally doubtful of. Fast, efficient and professional service.

Throughout the whole process of our purchase James has been so helpful always chasing up solicitors and updating us on the progression of the sale. He is so responsive to all calls and emails and handles everything so well! After having an awful experience on a previous purchase that fell through with an online agent who had very little involvement with the sale, it was like a breath of fresh air dealing with James, he really went above and beyond from start to finish.

I really wanted to share my experience with this company so that other people have been warned not to waste their time. If I had to describe the agent in 1 word it would be amateur! We had our flat up for sale on a 12 week contract with 1 provider and in this time had no viewings, the first time I met them they told me they'd send me an email with the photos for Rightmove/the brochure, he never did.

He said he would send details of a recommended company to do an energy survey, he never did. If we wanted to find out the status from their side we had to make the call and be told that people were asking about the property but they had failed to convert this interest into any viewings. They also knew we were selling and buying in the area but never sent any details about their other properties.

The final straw for me was this inexperienced Salesman telling me the reason nobody had viewed the place was not that he failed to convert interest into viewings was that If I was buying a flat I would want 2 bedrooms so we just need to wait for this person who doesn't want a lot of space. This same guy told me nobody looks at houses in Newspapers and everyone just uses Rightmove, well I am buying a place and I shop around so I guess I am not the only one!

In comparison and to show this is not down to the Flat itself in the last 2 weeks our new agents (Beresfords) have arranged a viewing and converted this to a second viewing, they included our place in their mailout to buyers, put a picture in the local paper, arranged the energy survey for us, have called a couple of times with updates and sent the viewing stats from Rightmove.
