The company was founded in 1934 by Arthur Gaskill, the father of the present senior partner Bryan Gaskill. The first offices were over Durandu's tobacconist at the corner of Exchange Street East and Dale Street Liverpool, and Arthur Gaskill was asked if he, along with two accountant associates would open the Abbey National's first office in Liverpool as agents.

We asked Bryan to complete a Homebuyers survey on a potential house purchase in Liverpool. This gentleman is very very thorough and professional and charges a very reasonable price. Additionally his customer service is second to none! He highlighted serious concerns that may have otherwise been left unknown. We cannot recommend him enough!
