We found my fincee's dream house advertised by Alfred Pallas. After a viewing, we made our offer and within a week when it was accepted, the purchase process just begun. They were absolutely helpfull through the 4 month process, and even after that. -Updated us reguarly -Chased both, our and the seller's solicitor when they were not to responsive -If we had any questions or concerns they helped us to get answers as quickly as possible -Even after the purchase was completed, helped us to find contractors, to fix those minor defects were known before our offer was made.
One more important thing! They treated us equally and respectfully regardless of that we are EU immigrants, and our english is not perfect. Not like some other (higher rated) agencies we were previously contacted, while we were looking for our first home.

Tried to buy a property through this firm. Turns out the property is already sold -- the old bait and switch! Right when I made my offer was told the seller would be willing to proceed on my offer if I could provide proof of funds in a 'race to close' competition. I provided proof of funds, thus winning the race, and the advert was pulled. But things went silent from Suzanne Pallas.
Eventually I was told the seller was proceeding with their original buyer from last summer who had not found funding. Now, a week later, the advert pops up again. I asked why is it readvertised if the property was already sold and my offer was accepted but not yet acted upon. She replied 'The client does not want it taken off the market even though a sale is proceeding.' At the very least it seems like a poor way to treat a potential customer.
At its worst, it looks like a classic case of bait and switch -- advertise a pretty property at a low price and then try to pitch other properties to all those who reply -- sleazy. A good reputation can be lost in a moment, and take years to earn back.

First off I very rarely leave a review, however having dealt with Alfred Pallas I cannot sing their praises enough. Service was professional/informative from start to finish and went that extra mile on more than one occasion. If looking to sell your property please make sure you use Alfred Pallas as the friendly staff will not disappoint.

I rarely leave reviews, but the Fulwell branch of Alfred Pallas provides such a high standard of customer service that I have to recommend them to anyone who will listen! Ann and Suzanne were excellent throughout the process, kept me informed at every stage and even called and emailed me out of hours to make sure that everything moved forward smoothly. Its a bit of cliche, but they really do go the extra mile.

I can't even give this business a 1 star. We have never been treated so despicably in our lives. As a buyer- you would think we would be the more satisfied of the two- we had absolute horrific service from start to finish. Firstly, if you are thinking of selling with these clowns, they lie, dont contact potential buyers or chase offers, in fact, we almost had to do 'Vivien's' job for her.
Even getting an offer in accounted lies, slow service and more lies. Eventually, an offer was accepted on a property and mortgage in principal was sent. House taken off the market. Everything was going smoothly, or so we thought, and we have our funds ready, signed lots of paperwork, and bought furniture. Then, out of the blue, only 4.5 weeks of the process being started, my husband was told the seller was pulling out.
We questioned why and were simply told she had a cash buyer and we were taking too long. Now firstly, houses on average take at least 6-8 weeks. Ours wasnt even into week 5. Secondly, noone had called us to question anything or give us the option of sorting it. Sue Pallas coldly told us that in not so many words, it's tough. To our horror, we found out that behind our back, Sue Pallas had in fact called another potential buyer (the house was off the market) and accepted an offer.
This was all going on unbeknown to us. Us, like mugs were paying solicitors and spending money on a house they had no intention of us having. The service was cold and quite frankly disgusting. They love pretending the line is crackling or going dead so they dont have to speak to you. Absolute con artists. Stay clear if you possibly can!
