We were shocked at our treatment from the lettings manager: Five months into a 2 year tenancy, our sadly tenant passed away. We had paid the full letting fee for the 2 years in advance. We went back to P&E to refund us the pro-rata fee and find us another tenant. They refused to refund anything! Astonishing! They were expecting to get paid twice in this situation.

Contrast this with Marsh and Parsons where I had a similar situation. They refunded me the pro-rata fee when tenant left and I gave them the instruction to let it again. We're progressing our complaint with the Ombudsman and property regulators. NEVER USE THIS FIRM!
