We endured a difficult sale of our property due to conveyancers but Emma, in particular, and Claire did an absolutely outstanding job for us, keeping in touch every day it seemed. They maintained close contact with the buyer and their conveyancer and shared helpful information and insight which helped us in our communication with our conveyancer. Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness As a buyer I found this company arrogant and casual. There was a striking gap in attitude towards buyers as opposed to vendors. This company would do well to review their approach to buyers in terms of support and respect. Happily there are other estate agents in Clevedon who get that balance correct.

Just completed a house purchase through Mark Templer. It was a fairly challenging process for various reasons outside the agents control. We found all the staff at Mark Templer offered very good service throughout. Always available, responsive and pro-active when chasing things up. I'd be quite happy to use them again in the future when either buying or selling.

I found the service at Mark Templer to be first class including initial survey, marketing and keeping me fully informed on all viewings and follow-ups. A buyer at an acceptable price was found reasonably quickly and the staff informed me of the progress of the sale right through to completion. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful and well informed on the details of my sale. Louis and the others were available to discuss and advise whenever I needed. them I was more than happy with the whole experience.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. A home is supposed to be somewhere you can close the door to the troubles of the world. Mark Templer's estate agent never allowed this to happen. This estate agent WILL NOT give you a ' How To Rent Guide'. THIS IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT AND IF THIS BOOKLET IS NOT PROVIDED IT MAKES A SECTION 21 NOTICE INVALID. This booklet is 11 pages. Instead, we were given a summary of the booklet (two pages) and a"Good Tenant Guide".their version of how to behave!
After seven months of living in the property, the agent wanted 563.13 of our deposit! The place was immaculate! A PIECE OF GRASS was on the bathroom floor and we were told it needed a cleaner. CRUMBS IN THE OVEN (NOT BURNT MARKS OR STAINS.CRUMBS!) were point also po They wanted 200 for a little flower bed wall, where is had fallen down. Thankfully we had photos. This is a complete scam on how to keep people's hard earned money. Please stay away from this agent at all costs.

Mark Templer tried to keep almost 300 of our security deposit after we moved out of a flat we rented for 16 months. We left the flat clean and tidy as required, their third party inspector agreed that the carpets were clean and in good condition, yet they still tried to charge us an additional 130! Fortunately, I had taken lots of photos, and had an invoice stating the carpets had been professionally cleaned.
I'm pleased to say the adjudication system is fair, we got most of our deposit back, but I would NOT recommend Mark Templer. I know a number of other people who have had difficulty getting their security deposits returned, it's seems to be a common problem.
