In 1945 Mr O'Donnell and Mr Hawthorn opened their first Estate Agency office in Hornchurch near to the Old Bus Station in Hornchurch Road. Business prospered as Rainham and Hornchurch found its feet after nearly six years of war. Mr O'Donnell was kept busy as returning soldiers flooded back into society and Britain returned to peacetime and normality.

Such a fantastic service from David and the team. We had originally gone with a local agent and then moved to Patterson Hawthorn and the improvement in service was huge. The photos were much better and they sold our house the day it went on the market. From start to finish, through several stressful moments, a pandemic and a stamp duty holiday period David always gave us excellent advice, knew what was best to do, and was brilliant at lining up back up plans for us when Plan A looked like it might not go ahead. All the while David was lovely to talk to and so professional. Thank you team!

This will be the 2nd time I have used Patterson hawthorn and i wouldn't go anywhere else. This is a family run company and all the staff welcome you. Davis has been dealing with the selling of my house which was sold within 48 hours. David has always given honest advise and always goes above and beyond. From the 1st time we used them till now the service level hasn't changed. they are great and if (hopefully not) i move again then i will be calling them again.

I wouldn't use anyone else as for me they are always friendly, but professional and when they say they are going to do something they do, especially David. All I can say is thank you for another great sale and speedy completion. Thank you FROM LISA & KEVIN SCOTT
