We were tempted to use an on-line only agent but glad we didn't. With something as critical and stressful as selling a house, it is more important nowadays that there is a friendly and helpful person to assist, and Bloxham & Barlow certainly met this brief. Whilst they are also comparable with their on-line presence, real people that you can speak to and/or see in person really adds that missing link to re-assure and get things moving with other parties when needed. Definitely recommended.

We obtained quotes from 3 estate agents and chose Bloxham and Barlow because they were professional in their approach, providing a competitive cost for selling the property and were not pushy. They sought to assist us in every way possible, providing recommendations of tradespeople where needed. The agent gave up his own time to facilitate viewings and I was very happy with the process of the sale. Prospective buyers were treated with courtesy which is important. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bloxham and Barlow.

Very unprofessional, was told the flat I viewed had no interest, I then get told to offer 6 months rent in advance should seal the deal, filled out paper work only to get an email the next day saying they didn't know what was going on with the flat and they'd be in contact as soon as they find out, phoned several times and got pied off with ridiculous excuses asked for the landlord to contact me direct or to have landlords number myself got told they wouldn't do that and they'd be in touch and eventually a week later they left a voice mail saying the flat had gone- seemed like the agency had favourites and they got first dibs also the viewing was rather unprofessional she knew nothing about the flat and didn't say a lot just opened the door and let us look around only really spoke when talking about the money side. I'd personally avoid at all cost and will never bother with this company again.

If only I could give them 0 stars, unprofessional all about money money money. Turns up late to house viewing, happy to take the holding deposit really quickly but then slow to reply to emails or phone calls. After not even the full 15 working day had a call today to say the referencing company they use hasn't got back to them and they can't wait any longer.

Maybe if they used a better referencing company, I explained I've done everything possible in my power to get it done quickly. However they much prefer to re advertise and take longer to find someone when the checks were going back to them today. Avoid at all great costs, shambles of a estate agent. I've lost out because of the slow Rent4sure' company.
