Wednesday afternoon 23rd March a house was put on the market that my partner and I were interested in. That evening we sent an email to Eric Clarke stating our interest and made a full offer the seller was asking, even though we hadn't viewed the property. This was followed up the following morning reiterating our interest and again made the offer.
This was rejected by the agency as we couldn't make an offer without viewing the property first. I then asked for a viewing as soon as possible as we didn't want to lose out on this property only again to be turned away as they hadn't arranged anything with the vendor to make such arrangements and it would be the following week before anything can be arranged. So, how is it, this property has been sold by Friday 25th March if viewings can't be arranged?

Eric Clarke have just completed the sale of my property in Farnworth. From the initial valuation meeting through to the marketing and subsequent sale of the property I have been kept informed and updated on a regular basis. Arranged a viewing with the person on the phone for 13.50. Checked my email before the viewing for the address and it said 12.50. It was clearly their mistake as the phone was on speaker when I made the appointment and everyone I was with at the time also heard 13.50. Called them up at 12.55 and still offered to be there by 13.05 at the latest despite it not being my fault and they refused. I've dealt with many estate agents in the past around the area but have to say these are the worst. Terrible company and avoid at all costs!

Eric Clarke estate agent recently sold my house. The house was under offer after a few days and when the sale fell through Karen got us another buyer within a week.We paid the fees up front, which was cheaper, but did not mean the service was poor. Karen always kept us informed and supported us through the process. I think dealing with a local estate agent makes the service more personal and it is easy just to call in when you have a problem.
