Having gone with a different estate agent first after being promised the earth, we went back to Lancasters. Needless to say, we should have gone to you first but hindsight is a wonderful thing! Lancasters got us the price we were after and enabled us to move swiftly into the house we are now in. They dealt with a host of queries by viewers regarding the surrounding properties and brought plenty of viewers in, and a number of decent first offers.

It is almost a week now since my Dad's house sold. From the first visit when Ben carried out a probate valuation to my last email with Danielle the service has been matchless. Thank you to Dean doing the viewings, the photographer and all the office-based staff. Ben is professional, kind, offers advice but listens to your wishes. The sale was flying through when a certain COVID-19 appeared on the scene.

The service from Lancasters changed from a team to mainly Ben working from home; however that did not impact on their professionalism. We still had weekly calls from Ben instead of Anita, still got advice and still felt like the central focus of their business. Once rules were relaxed things moved along and the team slowly became involved again. Each and every person I spoke to was excellent. Every promised action, phone call and email were made on time. I recommend Lancaster's wholeheartedly. You'd be mad to use anyone else!

I've been house-hunting a few times during our 10 years in Bolton, and I have to say that these people are the best for keeping prospective buyers in touch with the market. Lancasters hasn't been going that long -- less than the 10 years I've lived here, I would say -- but it has already established an excellent reputation, particularly towards the Horwich end of town.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and they take a real pride in their customer service. I know people who have sold their house through them -- one couple quite recently, which is an achievement in the current housing market -- and they speak highly of Lancasters too. If we were to sell our house we would probably go with Lancasters, which I suppose must be about the best recommendation anyone can give.
