Certainly an estate agent I would not be recommending. Had numerous mistakes with the viewings and had little if any contact at all from the team throughout the sale unless I chased myself, always seemed to be different people looking into the file - no consistency at all. Absolutely zero customer service throughout. All they are bothered about is agreeing a sale and getting their fee. The team didn't even know our property had exchanged!

One of the worst estate agent I have dealt with while house hunting: full of lies to push the prices up of the properties. Allowing bidding of properties indirectly. I cant think of any worse words for Bolton miller metcalf. Soon as I see property advertised for sale with them. It's a straight no no to view booking of property. Never mind purchasing property through them. I have declined to view / purchase property through them. Feel sorry for sellers. Advertising through them for sale. Good luck

I was initially impressed with the letting agent's enthusiasm for our custom, and first impressions were good. They had a well presented, contemporary office with a team of smart and professional looking people. The first impression was wrong. We were dealing with one agent (AMANDA) who was initially very polite and seemed eager to get the house sale on a roll.
After 3 three weeks of waiting on a response from Amanda, a brief phone call for an update was made; only to be talked down to in a ignominious manor. Amanda's attitude and tone had definitely taken a sharp turn since the next 3 phone calls were matched with an exasperated & distasteful demeaner. After politely waiting for Amanda to catch her breath and finish ventilating she suggested speaking to the branch manager.
Before I even got to reject her offer she had already transferred me through. However, the branch manager was very polite, well mannered and courteous. She apologised on Amanda's behalf and tried her best to rectify the issue. The manager explained that this agent we had been dealing with has had other "run-ins" with other customers and that she was a "HOT HEAD".
This review is not intended to discredit Amanda or the Miller Metcalf Agency, all the other staff including the secretary were very easy to deal with. If it wasn't for this one agent dealing with our case, I would have rated this branch a solid 4/5, this is just my opinion and a review of what I have encountered at this branch. Staff training in customer care is most likely essential. I am now buying and selling houses with Bridgfords.

My experience with Estate agents in the UK, but I've found such a great difference with the previous one. Aimee Cole and all the other members of the staff are incredibly kind and willing to help for all the issues and requests I had. I think the main difference on respect of other agencies I've been in contact with is the friendly approach of the guys, which are also very professional and efficient. Aimee team always goes above and beyond very highly recommend pleasure to deal with Aimee very responsive and always ready to help Aimee demonstrated a level of commitment And professionalism that were a credit to her Thank you Aimee

The best Estate Agents I have ever dealt with. There was no pressure and stress from the Estate Agents and very professional. Everything was smooth and we completed in 2 month. Karen Price dealt with everything from the beginning to the end. She kept us updated all the way through and did a wonderful job.

0 stars. No communication between staff in office at bolton. Not professional, Unorganised, Disappointed with Miller Metcalfe team in bolton. Initially i dealt with Aimee putting in an offer, she asked me for proof of funds which I emailed the next day (6/5/21). I chased it up the following day asking to speak to Aimee which one of her colleagues said she works part time and is not in.
I rang Monday 10/5/21 Jessica answered the phone (asking for Aimee) Jessica said she's not in, if you can send me proof of funds il deal with it, which I emailed again the same day (10/5/21).I got email from Jessica the next day to email her a bank card to match up with the statement which I did same day. I got a phone call at 4:30pm saying Iv got good news the vendor has accepted my offer.
On Thursday 13/5/21 I got email from Aimee saying the vendor has declined your offer but stated the vendor is keen to do a sale if I INCREASE the offer. (Iv got proof of email). I rang them up immediately Aimee answered, I told her Jessica rang me on Monday 10/5/21saying my offer was ACCEPTED. She spoke to Karen (Assistant Manager) who then took the call and spoke to me in a abrupt manner saying the vendor has decided to go with another offer I said my offer was already ACCEPTED on Monday and that Iv already appointed a solicitor and paid deposit.
She goes it's got nothing to do with the deposit and I should contact the solicitor. I said to Karen why does the email state to INCREASE my offer when the offer was already accepted 3 days ago. She said il have a word with my team. Iv lost the sale because Miller Metcalfe wanted more money when the offer was accepted by the vendor. Disappointed is a understatement

Would just like to express how deeply shocked i am by the level of service received from Miller Metcalfe in Culcheth in particular Claire who was highly unprofessional and did not give the standard service required from such a highly established company. When we have tried to convey our issues with Miller Metcalfe they have responded in a very rude and snotty manner.
Would not recommend their services to anybody in the area of Culcheth/Warrington when there are a variety of other agents who have been responsive, friendly and knowledgeable and have prioritised our property.
