As a tenant renting through them for 4 years they were terrible. Specifically had 4 different property managers in that time who went from excellent (Karen) to awful. The main issue is getting them to contact landlords about repairs etc - twice the boiler broke down in December leaving no hot water / heating. Both times it took them over five days to contact the landlord and then another week to get sorted.

For context I was renting my own property out on the south coast and ensured the tenants had 24/7 plumber access and wouldn't dream of leaving them weeks on end without these services. When escalating there seemed to be no one to take responsibility -I was told to take showers at the gym and wear extra layers. Of course dodgy landlords may like this as it seem like the agency isn't bothering them hence the 5 star reviews but they treat their tenants poorly.

In the end the second time I ordered the boiler part on google and got a local plumber to install and subtracted this from the next months rent but even that was a battle. The cherry on the top was getting charged an extra cleaning fee for leaving rubbish in the recycling and normal waste bin on leaving (despite paying the council tax for these services - both bins less than half full).

I popped back to pick some mail up the next week and put the bins on the street to be emptied - I sent photos of the empty bins to try and get a refund for the craic but alas no luck! Avoid avoid avoid as a tenant.

Delighted with service, had a property viewing with another firm fall through, found another property on rightmove and spoke to a chap on Friday from the letting team who was able to accommodate a same day viewing for myself and partner, professional throughout, many thanks.

I contacted the office in Cambridge through email regarding a particular rental property they had advertised with some basic questions. I didn't ever get a reply. So, I forwarded the original email and politely asked if they could either let me know if the property had been rented, if not could they reply to either email. I received no email, so I called. Was advised someone who handles there rental market would return my call and heard nothing.

To be fair, I'm glad how they have shown a lack of interest, priority, concern and poor customer service at such an early stage. I can see from past reviews not everyone has been so fortunate. To conclude: 2 emails sent, 1 telephone call made! Zero response from agents.

We sold our property in Cambridge with RAH and had a very positive experience. Their valuation was spot on - unlike two other well-known local agents who competed for our business. RAH were efficient in creating the marketing materials, organising viewings and finally taking the process to completion, which took just eight weeks. All in all, I don't see how it could have gone any better and will certainly use them next time.

Excellent service selling my house. The Agent gave me very good advice when preparing the house to put it on the market and that helped to achieve a good price. Once an offer had been accepted the Sales Negotiator in the office provide excellent liaison between buyer, seller and solicitors. When there was a hiccup both the Agent and Negotiator provided calm and reassuring advice. I strongly recommend this estate agent.

After a slow start, RAH have been really helpful with a sale that has not been smooth at all (nothing to do with them - problems with a property I was buying). The people I have dealt with at RAH have all been very open and good at managing expectations. George D has been excellent throughout, always giving me really good advice and remaining professional yet supportive when my purchase went wrong, as well as helping me find another property to purchase. I would definitely recommend.

We were very happy with the service we received from RAH when selling our property. The process of getting the property on the market, including getting photos taken and getting an updated EPC, was very quick and seamless. We had great communication and advice throughout from Steve. Jane was also fantastically helpful at several crucial points during the process, ensuring all parties were kept informed and reassured, and making it possible for us to proceed with our onward purchase as well as the sale.

The commission charged was also very reasonable given the high quality of service we received. The only small negative I would mention was that the initial sale price RAH suggested the property be marketed at was very high compared to the offers we got and what it ended up selling for. However, we do understand that the market can be unpredictable, and to be fair to RAH, the other agency we initially contacted gave the same suggested sale price, so this was not unique to them! Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Redmayne Arnold & Harris is a fantastic estate agent. From the very beginning Steve and his team have been helpful, insightful, courteous and hard working as well as genuinely friendly. Cambridge is a tricky housing market and highly competitive but I don't think you can go wrong with the level of service from this team, plus they have very competitive fees and do great marketing. Definitely one to go back to, safe hands, trustworthy and very high levels of service.

My experience with this company was absolutely shocking and I consider barely legal, my experience also reflects that of previous negative reviews regarding retaining deposit on drummed up cleaning requirements. I rented a flat which clearly hadn't been invested in and was dirty and full of rubbish prior to my entering. On exiting the flat I left it in a better condition then I received it.

After I vacated the flat I was informed that most of my deposit would be held for 'cleaning'. When I contested the cost of the cleaning mysteriously went up. Very unsavory. I got my deposit back through the TDC. I lived in a block of flats, my neighbour and others also rented through RAH and didn't get their deposit back unless they went through the TDC. Either avoid or make sure you pick up every detail in the inventory, take photos and emails and be prepared to go to the TDC.

They are always attentive and helpful. Very professional and solved most issues quickly. I'm very pleased with their service. Many thanks.

This is an outstanding agency, in a pressured and highly commercial world, they build genuine relationships with people which mean we are well supported and the maintenance teams are readily available, efficient and pleasant. I had a great experience with Redmayne, Arnold, and Harris. They were very responsive with my requests and fair throughout my entire time renting. Being military I require a lot of things and they tended to all of my needs. Even til the very end they were extremely fair with my deposit and I got most of it back (they only took what was needed). Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience with RAH as first-time buyers. RAH were professional, responsive and quick to help with any queries we had. They also did a great job facilitating communications with the seller and passing on any necessary updates. One minor improvement we would have liked would have been the option of a slightly longer initial property visit, but 15 minutes was easily long enough, especially given the pandemic and busy property market (and was the same length as other viewings we attended with different agents).

Just moved into a new rental managed by RAH with the help of our agents Megan and Lauren. Very efficient and professional service. We had a number of viewings booked with them and they were responsive in updating us when houses were no longer available to view as well as flexible in adding additional properties to view at short notice. Once we found an apartment we liked, they processed the application and references within 4 days. Any questions we raised have typically been responded to within the same business day and often within the hour. Would recommend
